Photos from the end-of-production ceremony for the final 2011 Cadillac DTS Platinum sedan, built at the Hamtramck Assembly Plant. Plant workers gathered to mark the end of an era for Cadillac's full-size flagship sedan after nearly a decade in production, alongside a vintage 1940s Cadillac displayed to honor the model's long lineage.

The 2012 Kia Rio sedan represents the third generation of Kia's subcompact, built on the all-new UB platform with a 1.6-liter Gamma four-cylinder producing 138 horsepower, paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Top SX models added optional UVO infotainment with touchscreen navigation and an ISG idle stop-go system on the Eco variant for improved fuel economy. Peter Schreyer's Fluidic Sculpture design language gave the UB Rio a dramatically more polished look and a notably larger, more refined interior than the generation it replaced.
