The all-new 2019 Volkswagen Jetta made its world debut at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, marking a full generational redesign onto Volkswagen's flexible MQB platform. The 2018 Volkswagen Passat GT is the performance-focused variant of VW's midsize sedan, powered by a 3.6-liter VR6 engine producing 280 horsepower and paired with a 6-speed DSG transmission with paddle shifters. For 2018, Ford introduced the first-ever diesel option for the F-150 half-ton pickup: the 3.0-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V6, producing 250 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque.
