  1. I actually was able to close the door with no problem as there is plenty of room on the side of the chair for my leg.
  2. @ocnblu @ccap41 @Robert Hall @balthazar Might only be .4" taller, but the interior has way more space than the CX9 or Continental and YES, I can Actually fit in a Bolt. Wife hated the interior colors. From the 2016 auto show when I checked out and then wrote up about the Bolt. I could even squeeze into the back and be far more comfy than either the terrible CX9 or Continental. Interior dimensions of the Bolt are far bigger than many ICE auto's.
  3. WOW, this is scary! https://www.thedrive.com/accelerator/35099/vintage-race-car-flips-mark-webber-style-in-massive-road-america-crash
  4. WOW, Guess if your rich there are no bounds to how one can be spoiled. Introducing the new EV go cart by Bugatti, the Bugatti Baby II. According to this article, Ettore Bugatti loved cars and loved his sons so much that when his 4 year old son asked for a car, he could not say no. So with his older son Jean, they built a half-scale electric replica of the famous Type 35 Bugatti racer. So desirable among the rich at the time, Bugatti went on to build 500 EV Type 35 racer carts from 1927 to 1936. Today Bugatti is going to build a 3/4 size EV of the Type 35 racer calling it the Bugatti Baby II. The Baby II is again aimed at the rich who spoil their kids. It will have 3 trim levels with the Bugatti Baby II base starting at $35,000 with a top speed of 42 miles per hour with a 15 mile range. There is programmed modes so you can limit power and speed. You can lock the auto into Novice mode or go all the way to expert mode. Middle trim level is called Vitesse and tops out at $50,500. Top trim level is Pur Sang and tops out at $68,000. Honestly, I could never understand a parent spending this kind of Coin on a kid who as the story says will probably crash it and leave it out in the rain. But then how a dollar bill is to most of us, I make the assumption that a $1,000 is like that to the rich 1% crowd. https://www.thedrive.com/news/35070/bugatti-baby-ii-is-the-68000-go-kart-your-kid-will-crash-and-leave-outside-in-the-rain
  5. You found Tesla's Long Lost Cyber SubCompact POS!
  6. Thought that was the 1912 Tundra towing it? ? The truck is just so dated!
  7. Wow, Talk about a major renovation. From blah old dog to new Hell Raiser Dog! Start with one 1979 4WD International Scout II and drop in the 707HP Hellcat Hemi with 8 speed TorqueFlite Transmission and you have a HELLSCOUT! From This: To this: Full details on this project can be read here: https://www.hotrod.com/articles/1979-international-scout-hellcat-hemi-swap-fast-n-loud/

  9. Did it ever actually get used in war time?
  10. Nice? Maybe for a dated 15 to 20 year old truck. Yea, I know this is a new truck, but it already looks like something that was a refresh from a decade or two now. Blah to me. I will give them credit where credit is due in that TRD has done a better job I think in tying in off road aftermarket companies to give the public the impression the buyers want for off road play even though I doubt many of these trucks ever go off road in the way they are marketed.
  11. According to this story, Honda and Toyota have decided to abandon the sub compact auto market in North America. Honda is killing off the Fit and Toyota Killed the Yaris. For Honda this means their lowest starting price auto which was the Fit at $17,145 now becomes the Civic Coupe LX starting at $22,705. For Toyota, the Yaris was their lowest priced starting auto and now that moves up to the Corolla. https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1128923_honda-fit-toyota-yaris-fuel-efficient-small-car Wanting a Sub Compact, these are all that are left on the market, Chevrolet Spark, Hyundai Accent, Kia Rio, Nissan Versa and Mitsubishi Mirage for the 2021 Model year. This makes one wonder how long before these auto's will be killed off as Compact becomes the new entry point for auto ownership.

  13. There is always the Hummer by GMC! My little PeeWee!
  14. Same company also does all the other auto companies and here is how Ford F-150 fairs. Over the last 37 years, 136 Recalls, 70 investigations, 1,504 TSBs. This equals to 3.67 recalls, 1.89 investigations and 40.65 TSBs per year. http://www.fordproblems.com/models/f-150/recalls/ Chevrolet Silverado from 1999 to current or last 21 years. 12 recalls, 3 investigations, 2,635 TSBs. Equals to .57 Recalls, 0.14 investigations, 125.47 TSBs per year. http://www.chevroletproblems.com/models/silverado-1500/ GMC Sierra 1500 from 1999 to current or last 21 years. 24 recalls, 5 investigations and 2,539 TSBs. Equals to 1.14 recalls, 0.24 investigations and 120.90 TSBs per year. http://www.gmcproblems.com/models/sierra-1500/ I am sure if we add together the recalls, investigations and TSBs for the 150, 250 and 350, same with 1500, 2500 and 3500 the numbers would go up. Toyota does beat them in much less TSBs per year with only an average of 39.4 TSBs.
  15. Love this write up on some 1990's metal that people should buy. One of my favorites is on the list. GMC Yukon GT 2-Door. AWESOME SUV! Disagree with the rest of the junk on the list, but the 2-Door GT Yukon / Tahoe were AWESOME! https://www.autoweek.com/car-life/classic-cars/g33415569/5-more-cars-of-the-1990s-you-should-be-buying-right-now/
  16. This is an interesting site. Toyota Tundra has a total of 51 recalls from the last 20 years of it's production. Not too bad. There are 7 issues under investigation with 2004 model year having 5 issues under investigation for brakes, suspension issues, airbags and seatbelts. The final big thing is the TSBs, 788 in total with the 2014 Model year having the most at 282 TSBs. http://www.toyotaproblems.com/models/tundra/recalls/ Worst year is 2010, Major electrical problems, engine and transmission problems along with wheel and frame issue for not supporting stated loads. This I do find very interesting, all the open cases that Toyota has yet to resolve around the following issues: See through rusted out frame assemblies, melting dashboards, Engine Sludge, Soy wire coating that rodents love to chew, oil consumption lawsuit, and so much more. http://www.toyotaproblems.com/problems/ Tundra is Baby Boomer tech, but clearly has a sludge of problems which really makes one question the reliability of the product. In regards to the service men and woman who buy Asian or European name plated auto's. Yes you have given to your country, yes democracy allows you to pick your product you want to spend your own hard earned coin on. The question to be asked is how do you changed American companies to build better products if you will not support them and give them the feedback to improve their products? On top of this, if your going to go around and preach about supporting your own country, how does that work when your money goes out in profits to other country based companies supporting another country over your own? Just saying, do you support your own US based Companies that pay taxes into the US Government and supports these companies or do you let it go over seas and support a foreign country? Food for thought!
  17. Rivian has their pilot production line complete and have now been able to give a finalized delivery date schedule for when the truck and SUV will start being delivered to customers. https://electrek.co/2020/07/24/rivian-delays-electric-pickup-summer-2021/ Now Rivian has issued an update to reservation holders with a clear timeline: R1T deliveries will begin June 2021 R1S deliveries will begin August 2021 Rivian has decided to roll out their own adventure charging network in support of Rivian go anywhere auto's. As such they have hired numerous Tesla employees who had helped Tesla roll out their charging network. For the “adventure” aspect of the network, Rivian will first target off-roading pit stops, national parks, and RV parks. One does have to wonder if this is why Tesla has decided to sue Rivian as they lose employees with knowledge to other EV auto companies as investments pour into EV auto makers. https://electrek.co/2020/06/01/rivian-adventure-network-electric-pickup-tesla-staff-charging-network/ FIXED, Had to clean up the Sluts!
  18. Love it, finally a review for me. Best SUV/CUV's for 2020 for Tall people! https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/best-luxury-cars-for-tall-people
  19. Will be interesting to see if they just skip a model year number and go to calling it a 2022.
  20. First Bullitt I have seen.
  21. Yup, plenty of the Turda out here. Plenty of the old Toy Pickups with frame issues too. This is a pic from Pittsburg where they salt so heavily to insure making you have to buy a new auto every 4 to 5 years I guess. New England talking about how fast the frames rust out due to the salt exposure. 2004 Toyota Tacoma has the frame rust out in 2016. 12 years. I have never seen this on a Ford or GM truck before. But I do get that everything rusts out.
  22. When your dated like a baby boomer, in a baby boomer's eyes it might seem more reliable, but clearly it is stuck in the past. I have seen just as many on tow trucks as I have seen fords or GM. Would be interesting to see the average age of buyers for these trucks.
