  1. Diminishing Returns and NOT the Global Standard to be in! Yes after the 90's the excitement and fun of watching the race went in the toilet. So true, could have been the end of the 90's in reality.
  2. Would if I had any! Dell has us on lockdown for travel, so now everything is a Skype session with customers.
  3. It is? Where is their world best Full size and mid size Pickup Trucks? ? Right!
  4. I think @Drew Dowdell needs to attend the Chinese auto show and report to us about all the cool auto's!
  5. Looking at the Chinese Auto show picks from Bing, Amazing some of the Buicks they get to see that we never do. Anyone know what this Buick Concept was from China?
  6. Your welcome to the Manbot play toy! I will happily relieve you of the fembot! Yes very cool city, Futuristic and yet available to visit now as that is Dubai.
  7. Always amazes me how people cannot seem to park in the middle of the parking spot and end up on one side of the other right against other auto's. The one thing I did not like about all 2 door cars like this is how big the cars are for access to the back seat and the number of times people would open them and hit leaving a door ding in the auto next to it. Another reason for parking square in the middle of the spot for best available door opening room.
  8. They still are, I have new Michelin's on both my Trailblazer SS and Escalade ESV and they rock, handled snow better than any other tire.
  9. Totally agree, TSA Pre and Global Entry are the only way to go for air travel. Found this cool story, did not know that Toyota was adding a Launch Gear to their CVTs. Seems a real gear is the only way to go from a dead stop but then CVT for top end. https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/car-technology/a19431445/toyota-cvt-with-1st-gear/
  10. So playing with the configurator, I see no other seat options. The seats are all the same, you just choose the adjustment level with or without massage. Maybe I am missing something but there seems to only be one seat design in a 10 way / 24 way depending on trim and then the perfect seat with massage 30 way. @ccap41 & @Cubical-aka-Moltar I agree that more ability to get the perfect position is always wanted by everyone. For me it is the style of the seats the wife does not like. They only have that one seat design with the split leg section that she does not like. Happy wife happy life, so right now I have to wait for a better Slade especially since the Germans cannot seem to build a real full size luxury SUV. And the G-Wagon is NOT a Slad or Navi.
  11. Yes the % stake is not controlling but Toyota does seem to have some major muscle on what Subaru does with their product line. It would almost seem like the shares they do own are preferential stocks in the company.
  12. Too true that it is all relative, my wife loves our Escalade, showed her the new Navigator and she did not like the design of the seats as well as many other things. Might be a wife issue, but she does love the Escala. I am thinking that Lincoln might have gone too far with the split lower leg supports and the individual sections on the seat. Sometimes one could go too far with trying to have bleeding edge luxury it would seem.
  13. for both American and United. Two airlines I would not want anyone especially you Drew flying on. They suck as airlines go, is there not any other better options you have there? Sorry but bad experiences on both of them have soured me for life.
  14. Nice looking, but still not a Fan of the Predator Mouth Grill. They can call it a Spindle all they want, but clearly they watched the Predator movies!
  15. True, I am hoping that this new leader can and does actually get Cadillac moving forward with product and with what Cadillac is! Not try to imitate what others are.
  16. LOL, They have not updated their corp website yet. https://www.gm.com/company/leadership/corporate-officers/johan-de-nysschen.html Found the GM Anouncement: http://www.gm.com/mol/m-2018-apr-0418-carlisle.html Love the fact that the new Leader had rebuilt and led Retail sales of the Buick, GMC and Cadillac products in Canada. The guy clearly is focused on growth compared to idiot JDN. Was hoping there was more on the site than what Bill found and posted for this story, sadly not. I wonder how long before they change things such as move out of NY? ?
  17. My parents Olds came with Whitewall tires and my dad changed them to all black due to my mom always hitting the curb and messing them up. I ended up liking the black better, but I get the look for it. So hard to find them anymore.
  18. Sorry Drew, @ccap41 was right about the side ratio, I mixed my numbers, first is the width of the tire, second number the sidewall ratio, so the 75 is higher than the 70. In respect the lower profile tire, or the 70 would transmit more road noise. Long road trips, you might like the quieter 75 tire.
  19. @Drew Dowdell The 75 is a wider tire than the 70, if this is for the Olds, then it would not matter as you are not performance driving where the wider tire would help. Quietness on the road is a true personal experience and as such, not sure which one would be best as they are all solid tires, Review the customer posts for road noise. That is what I would do and decide on that feedback. Amazing times we live in when you see pretty much no cars and only CUV/SUVs in the parking lots. Also tells you the current state of cars in comparison to CUV/SUVs.
  20. So True, never has really created and grew anything, more of stir the pot, fuck things up and then leave once he can convince someone to pay him more for doing minimal. Yes, but unlike the beloved Mary Poppins, she actually made long lasting change that was a success. JDN is a failure of minimal success.
  21. BMW has not stayed there, 2 series is the old 3 series as they pushed every model up. Hell the current 3/4 series is what the old 5 series used to be. Even MB has pushed the size and features up on their models so that lower models are now what the upper older versions used to be.
