  1. WOW, at first I was cool a very positive sales growth, but on further review it is not much different from the others. Down on CUVs and up or equal on cars. Interesting.
  2. Not much to say here other than Glad Nissan is buying them.
  3. OUCH, So much for the ultimate driving machine. This is even worse of a pull back in auto sales than the might MB company.
  4. WOW, So the B class is a FAILURE at those sales numbers, proving Chevy buyers do not want a MB product. but over all sales are declined across the board except for the GLC, GL and G class CUV/SUVs. We are in an auto slump.
  5. Interesting to see some major sales declines here across the board and especially on the Hybrid front.
  6. Interesting as this is one company I actually thought would do better and yet is very cool on sales especially the WRX/STI and BRZ. Guess we are in an auto cooling period.
  7. We'll Might Toyo even has a bunch of sucky sales. If it was not for the Truck line of products, they would have been just as ugly as everyone else.
  8. Interesting that you can get a pretty loaded patriot or compass for $180 a month on a 36 month lease. Course depending on model they are selling here in the greater seattle area from $10K to $16K new out the door. So I guess lots will get sold as long as they are cheap to buy.
  9. that is some seriously ugly sales declines, but at least sales in 2017 will look very bright for VW!
  10. Wonder how long GM will let each division slide before changing leadership at the top? Guess each one will get at least a life cycle to push through their version of auto's before deciding.
  11. Interesting revealing numbers. So where everyone else is selling more CUVs and SUVs, Nissan actually dropped big time in sales as well as a considerable across the board drop in sales of the Q product line for Infinity. At least there the luxury CUVs are selling.
  12. WHOW, what is up with all the Smiley faces? Truck sales? So they count the CUVs as trucks. Interesting. Like all others, seems sales are cooling. Surprised Apple has not sued Mazda over using the i-Activ since they seem to tie everything else up as i-xxxxx for the apple coffin.
  13. Was not aware that the e-tron was being sold yet. Very interesting. Seems like everyone, auto sales have cooled off.
  14. Clearly low gas prices is driving truck and suv sales. Be interesting to see how this is at this time next year once prices go back up. Sad that GM seems to have lost some mojo on car sales. Hopefully that will turn around in the near future.
  15. WOW, that is an ugly report, no matter how you try to spin it!
  16. So everything is down double digits except RAM being neutral and JEEP is keeping them afloat. This is Sergio's legacy. Crappy management of product lines. Just kill off Fiat and stop wasting money on Alfa.
  17. I can totally agree with this and know from personal experience that both of my sisters are going to CUVs from cars. Both want the higher seating position and like the over all space and comfort of a CUV over a car.
  18. +1 ^ I agree with Drew that the M2 PCI Express SSD drives are awesome be it in a desktop or laptop, it really makes the machine fly. I have tested this on both windows and linux and have to say this is the only way to go moving forward for your computer. Price has come way down also and performance is freakin amazing.
  19. That would ROCK! So bigger question is could the SS also get a limited run of special Chevy SS Supercharged 600 ponies?
  20. Plus, I doubt Volvo sees much value in becoming another Chevy, Ford, Toyota. I think many are wondering if MB and BMW will survive losing their niche as a luxury builder and becoming known as a Generic auto for everyone builder.
  21. Sad, yes it is on a solid platform, but Sergio has been hell bent of Fing up FCA, Steeling the money that should be re-invested into Dodge, RAM, Jeep, Chrysler so he can try and bring back his failed piss poor Italian brands. REALITY, What Sergio has done is hurt the US side of FCA in a failed attempt to keep auto production of $h!ty Fiat, Alfa and other grossly over priced, poor quality italian labels going.
  22. +1 ^ So true what Balthazar and Drew states!
  23. Nice looking auto and the work you have done is great to keep it on the road and going. Much like how I keep my 94 GMC Suburban SLE looking as nice as possible and on the road.
  24. This will be interesting to see what comes of this tie up and how the product portfolio changes.
  25. Came across this write up about if and when the end of petro auto's will take place. SuperCharged EVs. Overall advanced in fuel cells and advanced battery technology is not enough to offset the growth in auto sales in emerging markets powered by Petro. Yet it does clearly state that one cannot ignore this market niche. The estimate is that 800 million auto's will be added to the world wide fleet over the next 20 years. The additional charts and info is very informative on how EVs, PHEVs, etc. can affect the overall marketplace. Interesting is the charts that also show US oil productions, rigs and exploration. Some very interesting info. While I agree that for some they will not see the change over to a pure EV, PHEV or Hybrid driven auto market, I think many of us will see it still over the next 50 years along with self driving auto's.
