Cadillac's Return to Endurance Racing
Cool, Very cool, but I do have to question this expense of money when the focus needs to still stay on building the right auto's at the right luxury level to drive the sales and profits of Cadillac. H'mmmmmm Wait and Watch.

Europe's 400 Ultra-Fast Charging Network by 2020
G. David Felt Staff Writer Alternative Energy - www.CheersandGears.com Europe's 400 Ultra-Fast Charging Network by 2020 Europe like America has the 3 basic charging standards in play in their fragile network of 2016. These is what we know as the 110, 220 and 440, level 1, 2 and 3 chargers. Yet Europe is not standing by waiting for Tesla or American Auto companies to drive EV auto's. Instead Europe has built the following consortium of Auto companies who have all chosen to contribute an equal amount to building the next generation charger network. VW, GM, BMW, Daimler, FORD, FCA, Hyundai, Volvo and Jaguar Land Rover have choosen to build 400 locations over the next 3 years that will sense and charge up to 350 kW in the period of a quick Coffee break. This is significantly faster and higher than the Tesla 120kW fast charging system. The goal by the European Government is to offer road trip worthy auto's with fast charging to bring less noise and cleaner air to European cities by 2020 and to make the bulk of inner city auto's EV's within 10 years of the fast charging system going live, so by 2030. Diamler is wanting to lead the European charge with their 300+ kilometer EV-CUV This would seem to show that Tesla has had the desired effect of making a market changing revolution of how companies and governments see the future of transportation. Would You Rather: Lux Hot Rod Edition
Popular Machanics did theit top 100 Hottest Rides of all time and it is interesting to see what companies are not in there or only their older models are. Worth the lovely pictures to see all 100 http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/g93/the-100-hottest-cars-of-all-time/ Some old MB's but not a single Bentley is in the list.

I am just shocked at the stupidity of messing up both rides and clearly pretty new ones at that. How stupid can you be to damage your own ride that they probably still owe on in a big way.

Want to Hear Somebody Take a Dump on the CT6?
Actually they also had issues with select Escalade 2006. My Escalade ESV Platinum which I still own had to have the Nav/Radio/OnStar system replaced twice and the second time they put in a 2007 system due to the 06 units causing the battery to drain in just a couple days plus other funky issues. Since then, all has worked just fine and still going strong. I do wish the nav was faster responding but then it is an 07 system. Still love the comfort and have to say that the 2nd generation Escalade is way better than the 3rd generation and the current 4th generation is even better than the 2nd generation. I am considering trading my ride in for a new one. Just not sure if I want a car payment again. Bummer, but then all companies no matter, American, Asian, European make a lemon or two from time to time.

Would You Rather: Lux Hot Rod Edition
I have sat in both these auto's and will say the interior materials are nice. End of positive comments as the over all interiors are just blah, sterile and nothing with passion. The ubber luxury rides used to be totally custom and while the Bentley allows a certain amount of custom ordering, most are just mass produced cookie cutters and this is where the ubber Sterile ride comes in. I am in with Balthazar and A Horse With No Name that I would expect a passion infused custom ride that stands apart from the mass produced auto's we have here.

Want to Hear Somebody Take a Dump on the CT6?
Valid point but I could also say this about MB, BMW, Audi, etc. I also have not had any issues with my CUE in my Cadillac. I wonder how much of the issues really boil down to people not being familiar with the interface. I could bitch about how bad the MB interface is, that one is to me like an iPhone which I feel is a terrible interface. Never understand people who like that tech, but it clearly appeals to some. So I take complaints by all auto mags with a grain of salt. Just way to many different interfaces that I doubt the writers can stay on top of when they change the software and how it properly works. I hold more faith in the JD powers review and when people complain about stuff than the auto reviews.

True, but cheaper than a whole new auto with big payments. I am so happy to not have any auto payment. I would rather just pay for gas, maintenance and repairs.

Hey Drew, The local job fair was pretty big here for the tech community and the following web sites were posted by the Seattle Times as a place to start for building a resume. http://resume.monster.com/ http://www.resumebuilder.org/ https://www.resume.com/ https://www.myperfectresume.com/ https://resumegenius.com/ Course LinkedIn also has a resume builder and plenty of web sites talk about and show how to use your linked in profile to produce a PDF Resume. https://www.linkedin.com/company/resume-builder https://linkedinresumebuilder.com/ https://www.visualcv.com/linkedin-resume-builder/ https://www.resumonk.com/resume-builder/help/import-from-linkedin Course some do require you pay a fee, but most can help get you going. Remember one big thing is that most companies use resume scanning software which is to search for key words based on the job description. So one will want to write it to address those key words they put in that job description. Good luck.

Yes sad, but must be extra dry as this is fall and going into winter. Where is the rain and how did this so called wild fire get started? Me think there is human cause behind the fires.

Industry News: More Consumers Find Themselves 'Upside Down' On Trade-Ins
Greed is Good according to Gordon Gecko, yet that same greed happens still today with creative financing. I agree that the buyer is also to blame for making stupid dumb decisions. Yet when a sales person at a dealership plays with the numbers through creative financing to sell an auto, the whole nation ends up paying when the individual defaults on the loan. We have had this with creative financing on house loans, I see it on auto loans and with student loans. Yes people are at fault for going over their ability to live within reason, yet just as much blame also falls on the marketing by companies that prey on peoples addiction to the jones jones race of having the best and being stupid. All I am saying is that we could greatly reduce the hit to tax payers and companies bottom lines from defaults if creative financing was not allowed. It should be straight forward that you run a credit check, debt to income assessment and if they can truly afford the monthly payment then make a sale. If they are upside down, outside of reasonable living expenses, etc. the sale does not happen. One day businesses will realize that they have to stop with the stupid creative financing to just make a sale now rather than repeat customers who can afford an auto over time.

Front tire looks a bit flat, but WOW, that is in Cherry condition. Wonder if they got it from an Estate sale. I have found many older auto's in cherry condition from estate sales. Nice catch Drew.

Want to Hear Somebody Take a Dump on the CT6?
I would agree, the CT6 is leaps above what Caddy made in the past, but there is the rub, the past is always the next day, so you need to consistently obsolete yourself to be better than the competition. Welcome to the 21st century of what the High Tech industry has pushed on the world. 90 days later, your out of date.

Not surprised by this at all, it really is to be expected when creative financing allows people of little income to buy at a level that requires double if not triple what they really can afford. The dealers and auto companies need to stop offering creative financing to people that do not have the credit or income to support driving an auto that is outside their means.
