  1. My small town dealer got two Lexus RX's in on trade for Enclaves. This is a town with 5,000 people and one car dealer don't tell me it isn't being cross-shopped.
  2. Actually Palin and her fresh look on thing helped seal the deal for me and vote for McCain. McCain is to liberal for me as I am conservative and Palin shares many views I do.
  3. I think one SUV/cross-over (Torrent) and wagon/hatch (Vibe) there is a place for that.
  4. I agree they could nix the XL and just call it a Yukon.
  5. Sorry to hear. I'll be thinking of you folks.
  6. I would never touch those wheels the factory ones are sweet, now as for a powered coated verison of them I am all for it. I know the 2.4's have good kick down-low I know a guy with a 2006 Cobalt SS 2.4.
  7. I think GMCTruck guy is right, would I miss the Avalanche? Hell no a perfectly use-less vehicle buy a Silverado Crewcab. As the Escalade EXT cut it loose. Then if the Tahoe/Yukon go because of the Lambdas keep the longest wheelbase Suburban and Yukon XL.
  8. They can't do simple rebadges they have to drive different. Even the Equinox/Torrent do at least they ride a little sportier. But having GMPD couldn't hurt even the base model extra hp due to intake tuning and muffler. The spring rates should be firmed up too.
  9. Glad there is another owner of a 2007 Pontiac like me. :AH-HA_wink: Also that car is prolly pretty quick with the 2.4L VVT and the five speed and I love them in white as well. That is my color, long story on how my Impala, SLE and Torrent ended up not being white. I had a white 92 Sedan Deville and 90 GP tho.
  10. I hope we see one a little sooner than 10 years.
  11. I think they need new the SUV's maybe we'll get them later. A non-RWD based Suburban is wrong FYI.
  12. I do too since the developement is shared with Silverado/Sierra I can see the Yukon/Tahoe getting cut but I bet the Suburban and Yukon XL will be around a while. There is still a market for these vehicles folks that have to tow and move a family. Honestly they were the leaders at the start of the SUV boom and still are now. Like I said they still sell well in my area my dealer has been getting more in and the cheap gas now is helping that. Even through last year they have sold one. Five folks in my area got new Suburbans (08-09) and two were LS's and three were LTZ's.
  13. There is a website called Gaywheels?
  14. This one has a three speed automatic and it won't outrun much just telling you. Having said that those were good old cars. I would have sold you a 1990 GP with only one cancer spot that was fixed and painted over and only 110K with a 3.1L V6 and 4spd. automatic with 15inch styled steel wheels for only 500.00 back in January just for a perspective. Its paint still shined.
  15. From Edmunds... No more Fullsize BOF GM SUV's? I really would like to doubt this if this is true it is so stupid, they still sell pretty well considering there size and fuel economy. I mean it is a simple spin-off of a Sierra/Silverado don't tell me they are willing to exit this market even though it is shrinking and still own it just like they did 10 years ago.
  16. The few folks I know are married and some have childern some don't. The one man who is an idot who owns one still has a '93 Astro Van and a '99 Suburban LT.
  17. A TDI makes alot more sense than a Prius trust me.
  18. QUOTE (FUTURE_OF_GM @ Oct 27 2008, 11:42 AM) It's ok man.. Most imports can generally be confused for other imports all of the time... I mean, they're all bland, organic and awkward looking, so go figure. Except for the Pious... It looks 'extra special' awkward and sad, much like it's drivers. So true... Now lets kick some a$$.
  19. I have been driving a little more over the past year even with high gas. I am driving alot more now with gas under 2.50 a gallon.
  20. I know a few folks whom have both signs in there yard. They are a split house. I am sure that was the case. God Bless you for being a proud American tho.
  21. And this car will be a block-buster for sure, say bye bye ES.
  22. Ever since the Lucerne I have had a renewed faith in Buick. When Pontiac did the GTO, Solstice and G8 I did too, at least I do for a while.
  23. Great looking G5 is that a stick? I hope so I love the G5 GT's shame they don't do a GXP with a turbo!
  24. My nephew has a sweet GTI... Although I like the red better than his silver. European cars are generally worth the price premium. Plus they drive great and also Europeans know how to drive unlike American's with super-sized cup holders. Even so I buy domestic. I have never not recommended a European car if it fit someones needs and budget. Now I would lie I have said I have ever recommended a Toyota besides the 4Runner and Tacoma because I haven't.
  25. I agree but I will take what we can get from Pontiac right now.
