  1. The 8800 was out of my budget nor was it offered. I am making a big upgrade for an intergrated one to a 8400 GS.
  2. I know someone who actually has met Wagoner and has ties to GM lots of them. She is a very bright lady and has childern at the same highschool my son attended and my daughter attends. She just happens to teach there as well, and I trust her judgement and she says nothing but kind things about him. She also is very worried about fuel economy and being green and even though her and Rick don't see eye to clearly on everything she has nothing but praise for him and what he has done at GM. I don't think he is the evil or not effective person we make him out to be. We got the Enclave, Malibu, Solstice, G8, GTO, Lucerne, GMT-900's, STS, CTS and Traverse under this team could they have done a better job? I don't think much of one but it is nothing that killing the Unions won't fix seriously. GM has the product but the Unions keep shooting themselfs in the foot and not realizing keeping on asking for more and more is ultimately killing them. GM will soon have a great 5th Gen Camaro a new G8 ST, LaX and a Volt they should be very proud Lutz and Wagoner included. Both men have made some really good moves on tuff calls at GM. I think if the Union can go or at least get resonable agreements it would help GM out way more than 25 billion from the goverment. Then again they need both.
  3. 1.97... It is pushing me towards a Firebird over a Bonneville. Which is a good thing trust me. At least now when it is resonable.
  4. No we knew it was coming out in later 2010 or early 2011 rather than this summer. At least I heard it a few months ago like August.
  5. Good read. Very good read.
  6. I have driven one a short while once and ridden in many of them. They are super fun cars to ride in and too drive. If you decide to get one you will love it.
  7. I know the best year was 1972 and in Lucerne Blue with the sports stripes is pretty hard to beat and add the honey comb rims it kicks ass.
  8. I was told they get hot from a very techy friend. I like technology and know some but not nearly as much as him or some of you folks. He told me not to worry about the 8400 GS he said it will get warm but no super hot. He also said the troubles they had were on the 8600's. He has an 8800 on his pc. I am not a huge gamer but will a little and do use the CS Suite from Adobe ALOT. Actually the 8400 will be plently considering I had an intergerated one in my Lenovo which was worthless so a seperate video/graphics card is just a huge deal in and of itself not to mention an 8XXX Series Nvidia.
  9. The Lemans in nice, the color is good, and it could be a GTO easily and it is a very desriable year.
  10. The T/A is a pretty good deal. I think there could be a grand or two give in the price. Go for it. I wish I could swing an LS1, but I won't.
  11. I have heard they are really good about service too Capriceman if you think about it, what you got is my def. of service.
  12. Market adjustments my ass. It is called screwing people Croc. To me that is a croc of $h!. Greedy bastards, if you want to pay sticker that is one thing but paying more sticker is dumb especially when the economy is in the dumper. Don't even get me started about pricing products right all three Camaro, Mustang and Challenger are priced about right. It is not that they aren't priced right it is the fact that greedy dealers do this. No self respecting person would pay more. Listen it is common sense nothing wrong with making a profit and they will at sticker trust me. But honestly I have yet to see someone pay more for a car than sticker. It is dishonest because the window reads one thing and the dealer says another. It is the this attitude lets screw everyone that gets us all in trouble especailly domestic automakers with hots cars, geeeeeee remember the Solstice and GTO. Once agian its not that they didn't price there product right they did, it is affordable and even so affordable some pig dealers (whom I would never buy from) will raise the price above sticker on car that has been on lots for over 6 months. That is stupid, then again it is a free market and people are free to be stupid but I disagree with you none the less.
  13. Anyone have any V6 window sticker photographs? I would love to see some of the features and options along with the fuel economy.
  14. Well I hope I like mine. I know four people with them, and two of them have had their Dell's for 2.5 years and still love them. The other two really like theirs as well but they are newer.
  15. Well here is the first thread... First Post... on Lenovo... I have basically already have been ready for something faster, with a web cam and larger HD even tho I have a larger 500gb External hard-drive. And with alot better graphics card... I decided on a Dell Vostro 2510 due in part to the attractive $379 rebate that ends tonight. So here is what I ordered and I can't wait to upgrade it. I have a friend who is in need of a small computer and will sell my Lenovo for a small loss and move on. Here is what I am getting... Also I was so excited I could still get XP! I will moving my 2007 Office Suite and CS3 Suite over as well. I now can game on it, wahoooo! Tell me what you think...
  16. That is too funny 68 the color was used like 20 years before that Formula was ever born. Thanks for all your help guys, but I have to get one with a 3.8. Also I like the color too but one maroon car (my SLE) which is a wonderful cranberry red metallic is enough.
  17. Bastards on a car like that never pay more than sticker. On eBay a ton of them are well under sticker.
  18. I would go with a 04-06 GTO it would be perfect for you. RWD decent fuel economy and they drive great! Having said that a 06-07 Monte Carlo SS with a 5.3 would be a blast. I drove one and torque steer and all it was charming the front tires would just light up. It was amusing its own way. Sounds like you value a coupe more than RWD so I would consider a 06-07 Monte Carlo, 04-06 GTO and a 1998-02 F-body. (For the record I am considering getting one for my son to drive and me to play with on the weekend because we need an extra car, although I am only doing a 3800 in mine.) Edit... What about a G6 GT Coupe, I know Caddycruiser some bad luck, but they look great have a decent power the torquey 3.5 and are on the Epsilon platform as well.
  19. That is a really cool car. Go look at it. The miles and rust will explain itself. (What a neat car that would be to restore someday!)
  20. I would be the oppisite of most people who want a 40-45K verison. I would want the FE3, stick (maybe an auto) the big rims, fog lamps and such. GM should make foglamps standard and better looking wheels. For about 40-42K I could happy with all the performance goodies and no other comfort options.
  21. That is good enough for me. (27 mpg that is if you were hard on it) I don't baby my cars either my Bonneville I prolly drive a little harder because it is a faster and better looking car. So do cops really look for the late model F-bodies? If so don't worry it will be stock and it has to have the chrome 16 inch wheels. I might have some chrome tips and a performance muffler out back other than that and an intake it will be. I am not ricing a Camaro it would be fun tho.
  22. Your close buy it! :AH-HA_wink: I would get an L36 and 0-60 with an automatic in 7.5 seconds is just fine for me and my son. (According to C&D)
  23. That is exactly what I hoping and thinking dfelt.
