  1. If it's a beautiful day with the windows down and sunroof open, I tend to go with classic rock: the Doors, Zeppelin, even old Chili Peppers.
  2. Sandlot is a classic. The Babe was a good movie too. I think my favorite baseball movie is Major League (and to a lesser extent Major League 2). Not sure if I've seen A League of Their Own.
  3. Hey, when you're bored you should repost some of your reviews over here. They were good.
  4. I had a bad feeling the moment they lost after being up 3-1 in the series. It was like there was a change in team mentality. They stopped playing at playoff caliber like they got cocky. Year after freakin' year!! Oh well, at least I have The Goon on bluray now, and the sequel on the way.
  5. Olds, did you see the Caps choke again in legendary fashion? Up 3 games to 1 on the Rangers and they blew it. They haven't gotten past that spot in the playoffs in an eternity. I'm curious, are they known elsewhere for being choke artists?
  6. BOOM. Finally some pics! I take it things are still progressing slow with the F100?
  7. My background is currently this outrageously hot Camaro, but it's on a 1-hour rotation with like 15 wallpapers including the ATS-V and CTS-V.
  8. I get you! That's why we've gotta bring over some more people, get some familiar content going (minus the bickering). It's like a fresh start among friends.
  9. This model makes ZERO sense. Problem #1 is that the exterior design fails to elevate itself above the other very good full size sedan on Kia lots for half the price: the FWD Cadenza. If Kia had unveiled something that looked like an Optima-esque muscle car, you'd have people kicking down dealership doors just to see it, even if not to buy it. Flagship mission accomplished. Once you break down the floundering chassis dynamics, nearly 14-second 1/4 mile acceleration with terrible fuel economy, and $60,000+ price tag, the demographic for this mediocre-looking pseudo luxury car simply Does. Not. Exist. The abysmal sales speak for themselves.
  10. I chuckled at that too. Thed is also here, Olds.
  11. Thanks dood. Just glanced at your garage, nice TB SS!
  12. Yeah, organizationally it's a lot different than MT, but it also curbs the trolling, which was becoming such a pain in the ass over there. This forum is a lot more flexible and personal with the different features. The garage is cool, you gotta update yours!
  13. I had totally forgotten about the CT6. I guess it didn't leave a huge impression on me. When is that due out?
  14. I'm pretty sure GM's turbo engines all have good high-octane tables that give enough benefit to power and fuel economy that the cost of 91 octane is just about entirely offset. I'm weary of putting regular in any turbocharged engine, they're essentially being dumbed down just to be able to accept the cheap stuff. Trifecta offers 1.4T tunes in a number of flavors. You can tell them what you want and they'll meet your needs. I would honestly test your car on premium gas for a few tanks and just monitor the differences in fuel economy and feel, you might be surprised.
  15. I never got invited to that, couldn't find it when I looked. Sadface.
  16. Bring more people over, dude! It's hard keeping track of PMs.
  17. Stew, spread the word over at MT. I can't even keep track of who I've messaged already because the forums don't show recipients in PMs until they've replied.
  18. I'm glad you guys actually care about the forum community. It's refreshing to be in a place like this.
  19. I'm part of a number of forums, primarily it's been Motor Trend because they have a great community and sometimes folks from the magazine join in. Unfortunately, the quality of the site software has been plummeting for about two years now and it's just not tolerable anymore. I'm a Chevy guy with a general love for domestic metal. I drive a regular-old Malibu and I like it quite a bit. It does have the V6 "performance" package with the high-output (port injected) 3.6L DOHC V6, hydraulic power steering, tapshift, and 18 inch wheels. I've lightly modded the car so it's making around 270 hp and tq (at the crank) with a 7000 rpm redline and it runs low/mid 14s. I tuned it with the HPTuners suite, so I'd love to talk tuning with anyone interested. Besides cars, I play keyboard in a classic and modern rock coverband, I'm a graphic designer, and I occasionally fix computers on the side. I also like good beer, craft or otherwise--as long as it has flavor and isn't light. Glad to be here! **Edit: I meant to add, any other people from MT forums feel free to add to this thread. I hope to see more of us coming over soon!
