  1. Not necessarily though. When it comes to off-road stuff, an 80k Bronco/Wrangler could 100% keep pace with a 400k 4X4 Squared. Their prices don't compare at all but their abilities certainly do. While I love the G Wagen, it would be ignorant to believe that it's better off-road than a 392 Rubicon Wrangler(with the extreme recon package) or Bronco Raptor. The only real advantage 300k gets you is 13.1 inches of ground clearance for the Bronco Raptor, 12.9 for the above Wrangler, then 17.2 inches for the 4x4 Squared. The Wrangler 392 even has more HP and TQ, to boot(50hp,20tq). The Bronco has 1 more HP and 30 more TQ so that extra 300k isn't getting you more under the hood either.
  2. Oh Gee, those guys tested and compared a Palisade and Seltos off-road to a Wrangler and Bronco and came to the conclusion that the Seltos and Palisade are better? In all seriousness, I forgot about the 4X4(squared). I also have never read/seen a comparison with that and the Bronco/Wrangler. It certainly has all of the necessary hardware to be the best OEM off-roader.
  3. Your point wasn't that the G Wagen wasn't the best? Then WTF was your point? Okay. Please continue telling me what to do here while siting trash-@ss sources.
  4. Maybe you also missed where I agreed with you and said it wasn't the best. I was just saying the list/source was shet. You're better than siting a source of off-roaders where #1 & #2 are AWD CUVs.
  5. I'm not going to try and say the G Wagen is the best off-roader, because Broncos, Wranglers, Raptors, and TRXs exist. But there's no doubting a vehicle with solid axles(Prior to the current gen, now just a solid rear axle), transfer case, and three locking diffs isn't one of the best off roaders. All it REALLY needs from the factory is some off-road tires with some sidewall. What a joke of a list. They site the Palisade as #1 and Seltos as #2 and a Travers as #5. Wrangler is #7 on a best off roaders list behind mostly AWD CUVs.
  6. I would be okay if this passes. "Earlier this year, lawmakers in New Jersey started the process of introducing legislation banning vehicle subscription services. The bill prohibits automakers and dealers from charging fees for the hardware already installed in vehicles."
  7. I don't see anything wrong with them asking for it. They can ask all they want and it'll only stick around if people are stupid enough to pay it. As long as people are smart enough not to bite the bait, stuff like this will go away.
  8. I don't think there's anything wrong with them doing it. I think ANYBODY willing to pay a subscription fee for something like that is an absolute moron though.
  9. They fudged up so bad with their EQ sedans.. 0.22 for an S Class sedan and .20 for a bar of soap?!? Why would that be a sacrifice worth making?!
  10. These really do look pretty damn good. There's something sliiiiightly off on the white one's nose but I don't think it would be difficult to tweak to look great.
  11. I mean, Cadillac did go with a horrific naming pattern here with their "iq" instead of the real words. I appreciate them not using the alphanumeric garbage but I also don't love the route they did choose.
  12. They've already gone full EV on a vehicle. It isn't Prius branded but they're currently selling the bZ4x.
  13. I was thinking the same exact thing. Utilize the branding of the Prius name and just expand it.
  14. Think they'll offer a full EV version this time around?
  15. Don’t accidentally be too graceful, Cadillac. IMG_5990.MOV
  16. Odd that this was printed after Ford's 2023 Super Duty announcement of: 1,200lb-ft of torque 40,000lb towing capacity 8,000lb payload capacity I didn't realize this was still a thing. Those Mega Cab trucks are huuuuuge! I think Rivian would like to have a word about this. This is pretty exciting overall news though. I'm curious if they'll Ford-it and apply an electrified version of what they already have or GM-it and have an all-new truck for electrification. I think we'd all prefer a ground-up design but, I feel like Ram/Stalantis(or whatever they're called now) won't spend that kind of money.
  17. Now THAT would make more sense, because that's why I was impressed with it as well. Usually those 100+kwh packs take like a day to charge from a 110v outlet, not overnight.
  18. Definitely. The only days that I do more than 5-10 miles regularly are Saturday and Sunday and even then, it's pretty rare to exceed 100 miles so MAYBE Sunday night/Monday morning I wouldn't be "full". Zero issue.
  19. Honestly, 11.5 hours to charge on a 110v outlet doesn't sound bad at all. I could live day to day off of that pretty easily. I'd assume I'd rarely dig into the bottom 15% of a battery pack with my weekly habits so a slow charge would be adequate. I assume these are a 10% to 90% charge, when it says 80%?
  20. I think the word "trolling" gets mixed up with "disagree" or maybe "argue" these days. Just because two people aren't agreeing with one another, doesn't mean one person is intentionally trying to upset/piss them off.
  21. Haha, exactly what I did as well.
  22. HAHAHA St. Louis gets more snow than Seattle! ~18"/year. Which isn't a lot. We usually just get one or two bad storms and that's about it.
  23. Not if you look at the headlight, the upward turn of the lower lip, and the little vent in front of the wheel. The more I look at it, I don't think I'm right either but the only thing throwing me off is the vent in front of the wheel. It may be a different variation of F8. That's the catch 22 with my love-hate relationship with Ferrari. I love that they CAN do that, but I also think it's complete garbage that they DO do things like that. Oh 100%. That's why I made it clear that JUST based on aesthetics, I'd be in the Ferrari over a C8. The C8 is a GREAT car but it just isn't anywhere near as beautiful, IMO. I agree. Since I've aged, these 2-seater sports cars aren't what I dream of anymore. Yes, id I had the money, I'd be in one. I just don't dream about them nor care much about them because they're so far out of the realm of possibilities that they're just kind of "whatever" to me, at this point.
