I think they are buying them all back haha. Going from 16 to 30 has made a really nice difference though

Roughly 100 miles every work day plus weekend trips to visit the parents, etc. I put roughly 55k on the 4x4 Dakota in less that 2 years at least it gets to be a weekend hunting truck/offroader now. .
-
Honestly I wish I had something else to pile miles on and keep the bug as a toy/weekend driver haha. Already put 5k miles on it in just 2 months.

I know hahaha. I am bad sometimes for making decisions on emotion rather than common sense haha. At least it was only 10900 lol. 9900 for the 11 Camry which probably won't lose a lot of value at all for a few years. 09 Camrys with double the mileage are oing for more than that around here and have a friend that just bought an 07 Camry, identical to my 11 down to cover and even the miles and still paid 7500 and it is 4 years older. Still have 3 rucks too and 2 are paid off and the one has less than 2k owed on a loan we took o take care of some outstanding bills haha. Just added up what I paid for att 5 vehicles and it is still 4 grand less that the average price of a new car haha.

It has been ridiculously dry from here to there straight to NC and wind gusts were up to 80 MPH yesterday evening which exasperated the issue. They believe arson is involved and fallen power lines because of he wind helped spread and start new fires too. They finally got some rain today, but unfortunately it is accompanied by more strong winds.

Not my favorite class of car, but given the choice i would go for the Bentley. The Benz looks as chunky around the middle as i have become haha.

It truly saddens me that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are getting blasted by fires, Gatlinburg is apparently pretty well gone.Good news is that have been no fatalities so far, but it is such a beautiful area.

When i got the Bug and Camry we HAD to have them. The Silverado in particular needed a ton of work and with both of our drives being roughly 100 miles a day we were going through roughly a grand in fuel every month. I made my mistakes and my credit has suffered so my financing rate sucks, but this is helping me rebuild it as well as the fact we will be keeping these or a very long time. Bought used too which does help.

VW News: As the Diesel Emits: What's the Status of Diesel, Volkswagen?
Stew replied to William Maley's topic in Volkswagen
What they did was just stupid. They had a fantastic niche and they should have made sure everything was actually kosher instead of trying to cheat the system. it will be hard o come back, at least for now. Maybe many years in the future when this is no longer at the orefront hey could make a comeback.- 10 replies

I will lake a Beetle, even a 1.8T over either or a Golf 1.8T. Yes they are bigger, but price would be similar. You get all the driving pleasure without the claustrophobia.

If we weren't all different there would only be one manufacturer making one car No fun at all lol.

Do the lists hehe. And yes, I slightly lean to the Terminator, but really like this too. WHen the Rs first came out a local guy got all the body parts, spoiler, etc and put them on a .................... V6, SMH Easily my favorite of all the Z cars.

I agree Chrysler needs to go, but Dodge sales aren't bad at all for what they have save the Dart. Mine out a compact and midsize for Dodge, bring over the Pacifica, Give Dodge a version of the Cherokee with a sporty design and a Challenger style interior and give it turbo 4 power and concentrate on handling. Give the LX cars one final refresh to tide them over until the new replacements arrive in 2021. They still need a more car/cuv oriented brand that isn't as specialized as Jeep with off-road or utility with Ram. Fiat needs phased out, or keep the 500X, 124, and the Abarth 500, maybe as order only from the Dodge dealership. If he do Alfa right they could very well have a niche hit on their hands. Just some thoughts.

Charger V6, particularly the SEs. The V8s seem to hold value pretty well, especially those with an SRT badge.
-
Very true. And I love restomods. modern steering, suspension, brakes, engines, etc in a classic package? yes please!
-
The older musclecars had it in style all day, everyday. As drivers, not so much. Horrible steering, horrible brakes, massive body roll, etc, etc, etc. a base 4 cylinder Accord would run circles around a great many musclecar in acceleration and annihilate all of them in turning, stopping, safety, convenience, and reliability.

They hold heir value OK around here, especially Hemis. IMHO, of the LX cars the Challenger far and away has the best styled and nicest interior. i was blown away about how high quality it is too, even compared to it's stablemates i is a step above. Give me a 300S Hemi with the Challenger interior and I would be heppy as can be. vs
