  1. I do like the Silverado Trailboss and the Avalon XSE pretty good actually, but they sofinitely share some design philosophy.
  2. I wouldn’t go that far. I like the Avalon, but they both look like each part was designed by a different person then smashed together.
  3. They both have fangs. Unfortunately it seems a color and totally different views were chosen to hid this.....
  4. OMG, just thought about it. Some of that front end styling shares some design cues with the new Silverado!.
  5. The front end treatments could definitely be toned down, but otherwise I really like it, particularly the side profile and interior. If I was looking in this class it would be near the top.
  6. I like this. i like the fact they seem to be giving it some actual ground clearance and no ground dragging lower front spoiler. the interior looks nice. The side view is Very Colorado and I am not feeling the 2.3 turbo as the only engine option. Was hoping for the option of the 2.7T
  7. I am sure there are updates o the engines that haven't been detailed yet. In any case, i love the fact they have stayed awa fom DI and carbon issues that come with it while still offering comparable HP and torque to engines with it. Anyway, i looks fantastic! I like it more than the current model and the updated F-150, and the 19 Silverado with it's weird side sculpting. The interior is great, love the updated design and new materials and the fact that every single version gets it's own interior treatment. They did a great job here.
  8. The angle and color makes it hard to tell, but what it appears, front end is of course all new. Looks like they have toned down the big ri look a big with taller fenders. The Hood area still offers the nod to that styling, but is a bit shorter. I like the cowl induction looking element of the hood, the front fenders look to be slightly flaired out. i am not sure about the big badge on the side of the hood, but sure it will grow on me. The cab appears larger than the current quadcab. the windshield rake is a bit faster while the rest appears a little more squared off. The body lines or detailing, particularly towards the bottom adds some depth without going gaudy. The rear bedsides definitely appear to be flared out more. Like I said, hard to tell too much until we get the reveal. I am really lookin forward to the New Rebel and hope they show it.
  9. I agree with this. The current truck stills sells great even without the extra production capacity they need and will be adding. it isn't like the F-150, Sierra, or Silverado have changed all that much in the last few generations, at least on the outside. If it works, why mess with it? I don't think it actually hurt it's sales and I really liked the return to the nostalgic front end design with the split headlights.
  10. Not a big red fan myself. The color Pallet seems very limited, seems like 5 colors are available and sadly no sharp grey.
  11. Agree al the way and should be a hell of a value on the used market.
  12. I sent pictures to my brother and he said "but it's a Kia". I like his ATS, don't get me wrong, but I would take that Loaded kia Stinger GT. It is topped out at 52k. The dealer had a 5k markup on it which made me laugh a bit. Very true, for what it is 31k is a steal for the 2.0T RWD
  13. I am stung by the Kia Stinger GT. Local dealer has one, GT2 AWD, basically as loaded as it gets. I am shocked how low and wide it looks in person, love it. It just works.
  14. I have lots of experience with my brother's ATS coupe and it is quite small inside, no doubt smaller than the sedan that is usually tested. That is one of the drawbacks of that fantastic coupe styling. The front seats are fine, the rears are basically useless. The trunk is also quite small. His is the the Premium performance I believe and it is loaded, including all the safety suites. It has the magnetic ride which is great, though still a little stiff, I wouldn't deem the ride rough or brittle. His is a 15 so it has the older 6 speed auto. Fortunately it is not as slow witted as the new 8 speed seems to be. His is the V6 of course and I would actually prefer it here. It also has AWD.
  15. I love that view. Not even remotely
  16. Honestly, I will wait until it debuts. like Ford and Chevy i am sure there will be different grills avail. I just hope it isn't like the 15 Chevy where one detail, the funky curved line at the front, completely ruins it for me. You can see what I am talking about and that front end isn't exactly causing me to rave either.
  17. I liked the original one, but I think I like this even more than the 14. My biggest gripe was with the rear end which seemed unfinished to me, but not so anymore.
  18. I wonder if maybe Honda is still in the process of ramping up Accord production for the new model? The drop was huge for December. If I was looking in the midsize market right now it would be a tossup between the Camry and Accord, preferably a Camry XSE V6 or Accord Touring 2.0T. Each with it's pros and cons for me. This is something I would have never thought just a few years ago. I am curious about the TNGA Corolla. Give it a decent powertrain and some nice design and it could really be something nice in the category.
  19. I am pretty sure the new LS isn't out yet..... Wow, the new Camry must really be hitting some vibes. One of my coworkers got a pearl white XLE and loves it and it actually looks good in the flesh!
