Sales: Sales Figure Ticker - September 2015
surreal1272 replied to William Maley's topic in 2015 Sales Archive
Well, we can only be online and be in a capacity to moderate at certain times of the day. There's going to be some blind spots in between rotation, but know that your patience will be of great virtue. No worries on my end.- 96 replies

So evidently Wings clever little response got deleted for obvious trolling and a personal attack but not before it got quoted by Bong. Thanks Bong. He has, once again, shown his true colors. Can't click on the right links or click on the right voting options. And it's my grammar that is the issue. Back to the topic...- 96 replies

Don't really know what that means. Really? After the last two pages of sales talk between you two, you don't know? Wow- 96 replies

Sales: Sales Figure Ticker - September 2015

Fact is while the big bump in Mustang sales is a boon for Ford, it is not surprising when you consider, A.) It is a brand new model after ten years of the basically the same car. B.) It's biggest competition, the Camaro, is on the way out with capacity cut months ago (hence their lower sales numbers). It's the same thing the Mustang went through at this time last year (under 4,000 sold in 9/14 I believe). C.) Once the new Camaro is out, then we see more competitive numbers come into play. The last six months mean very little in the grand scheme of things.- 96 replies

Why are you feeding him (as evidenced by his lack of knowledge as to why production stopped on the previous F bodies in the first place)? Topic please, stop inciting. Don't have to incite. You're doing a fine job of that yourself. Carry on.- 96 replies

Why are you feeding him (as evidenced by his lack of knowledge as to why production stopped on the previous F bodies in the first place)? I'm just putting up facts and third-party articles, as I usually do to back up my points. The folks in charge know what's what. The points I brought up about the Shelby's projected performance numbers were an illustration of how you need to improve all aspects of a car before you can jack prices and keep sales strong. I used Mopar as an example of how to do it right, and I expect that I may be able to use GM in a few day's time. Oh I'm not debating the facts you are presenting. It's who you are presenting them to when you know where this will end up. Just an observation.- 96 replies

My apologies too for getting sucked into that. There is no call for it.
-
Again, kudos to GM for their win in the mid size pick up comparo against the mid size stalwart Tacoma.
-
Complete domination by the Colorado. Again, I am surprised. This is why Ford needs to bring back the Ranger and make the competition that much stiffer. The Colorado sure put the Tacoma on notice here.
-
I am surprised that the Colorado came out that far ahead, just because of the reputation the Tacoma has. Most thought the Tacoma update would be an equalizer but it is far from it. It shows how far GM has come with the Colorado and how complacent Toyota has been. Kudos to GM here.

C/D Gets Healthy Z06 Droptop. MT Is Gonna Be REALLY Mad.

It just proves what this car can do when it's not limping around the track from heat soak (or whatever else was ailing it). Fix this GM! -
About a week ago, I changed the system so that everyone in the "members" group gets just one down vote per 24 hours and ten up votes in 24 hours. Makes sense although up until today I could not vote one way or the other for days. Thanks for the explanation Drew.
-
Sorry if anyone took what I said as being hostile. That is not how I am trying to come off. I really am just sick of the simple childishness exhibited by some. That is all.
-
Honestly, it's not the voting that is the problem and I have stated this before. It's the attitude of certain folks and I am simply done with them. That is all.
-
I WANT disagreement. Problem is....there are some people that just downvote...WITHOUT explanation... Personally, if that person just does NOT agree with what I have to say enough to downvote me...I expect a reason as to why he would waste enough energy reading my post and then downvoting it... There is an ignore feature in the forums, right? Just ignore what I have to say if what I have to say bothers you that you have to not like it...seems stupid to me in today's society where we dont like an opinion because its different only to downvote it because we dont like it... So as to downvote in spite...is kinda stupid...therefore THAT does not belong in an internet forum...n'est ce pas? We DONT need to agree with each other. But that also means we should also DISCUSS... That is also called trolling...something that is not wanted by me on ANY forum... That would be from whatever angle... One angle is when someone says preposterous thngs JUST to rile someone...just to feel accomplished... The other angle would be the person just downvoting JUST to rile someone's feathers... Both angles are TROLLING... Both angles dont add much to ANY conversation...so what is the point in having a discussion then? I am happy with the downvoting system...it keeps trolls at bay. What I dont like is when an honest to goodness opinion gets downvoted...and THAT is fine too...but when an honest to goodness opinion gets downvoted...explanations are in order...because at the end of the day...we are ALL entitled to an opinion... How effin pretentious is it when I offer an opinion and it gets downvoted because the person downvoting does not like what I have to say? Add insult to injury...no reason is given... You dont see how effed up THAT is? ^^^This but certain don't care what you have to say, valid or not. They just stand by their laptops and wait to down vote your next post just because they can. It is just childish, which is why we are at the point we are with it now. I don't give two $h!s if those children don't get it either. That's why they are called "children".

Infiniti in general is a mixed bag. While I detest CUVs in general, I always liked the 1st gen. FX35/45. IMO, it still looks better than most of the CUVs out there. Now, they are just bland.
-
It's definitely a step in the right direction, as long as it passes emissions.
-
I second that. Just unappealing inside and out.
-
Say the one who started all the whining months ago when he and Olds were going back and forth. Hello pot. Have we met before? What I stated was an honest observation of a flawed system. If you want to consider that "whining", then that is your problem. To quote Ron White, "Next time you have a thought, let it go" (see the Expy thread as a perfect example of this)
-
In two weeks it went from 25 to 6 because of two posters here.
-
So seriously, what is being done here? For some reason, it only lets me vote one way or the other each day but it's really longer than that. Up until today, I wasn't able to either for days. Meanwhile certain posters just sit on their votes until certain other posters say something they take a slight to. Again, the system is broken. Just my two cents.
-
And while the normal suspects down vote me merely speaking my opinion, let this sink in a bit. Wings presents one perspective, i.e. cheap base Mustang leaving room for customer picked options and choices. I presented the same thing, i.e. agreed with his perspective while ADDING another perspective in regards to customer choice and packaging. Now, having said that, who has the limited perspective here? It's sure isn't me but please feel free to down vote me for merely giving my opinion.
-
Wow. Calls my perspective "limited" while ignoring his own limited thinking (and by extension ignoring everything I said that supported my much broader perspective). How unsurprisingly typical.
-
As was already stated. Sorry you can't see beyond your own "perspective" because the reality is that not everyone shares that perspective.
