This. If my wife's tattered old Cavalier can start and run every day without issue (Can't count the day the fuel pump died), I think you will be fine. I was a bit worried when I picked up the Balt used, knowing the owner barely cared for it. But, with a little TLC, it's been a great little car. You're Caddy should be just fine. You'll get used to it. She's just being picky.

We don't even watch TV much anymore, makes more sense to just have good internet for us. Getting out of debt is not easy to do when you're poor, but somehow we keep doing it, little by little.....

It's not just for saturns anymore...... Anyways, I've been reading quite a few stories about people cutting, or just doing things a whole new way in this lovely economy. I've always been a guy who didn't need a bunch of stuff, but I find it amazing the stuff you can live without. Haven't missed cable, that's for sure. Hulu FTW. Looks the used car idea (for the wife) will stay that way going forward..... My new car needs to stay under 20 grand, period. I think I can get a Cruze or Aveo (if I go the GM route) pretty decently loaded (I'm not a frills kinda guy) for 15-17k. I want to have as few payments of anything possible. Cash is going to be king from here on out..... I'm trying to pay off all my debts (not easy at the moment) as quick as possible. Just a few thoughts floating around in my head at the moment..... What about you guys?
