The looks of of the Ion didn't scare away the customer....that car was a piece of crap ALL the way around..... When I've seen people trade their Ion in for a Cavalier, it kinda says something....

Well, this sucks... My thought is that (hopefully) many of those Saturn employees will go to other dealerships, since I find that most of the other dealerships seem to know little about Saturn..... I feel bad for the Astra owners....good luck..... At least there is not as many Hummer dealerships to phase out......

Both. Since I don't have the machine, I had to take it in. I got to do everything but use the machine itself. I brought my own 13qts on Valvoline Dex III. I did a flush and fill-no dropping the pan for a while. Cost was about 50 for the Dex, and around 30 to use to machine...... I might do the Cobalt too, but I think I might let them do that this time.....

Yep, it's that time. I've been busy the last few days, getting the cars ready for the winter. Yesterday, I changed the ATF in the wife's car. Drives like new! Also did the oil change, and rotated her tires. Besides a good cleaning inside and out, her car is ready for winter. This week, it's the Cobalt's turn. I'm debating about changing the ATF too. Busy, busy.......sounds like it is going to be another rough winter. So, what are you guys doing?

True. To me, it's not about the money, it's the personal time with family and friends. My buddy makes only about 45-50k at his job, (he knows and can make more), but he can darn near come and go as he pleases. Granted, he is a hard worker. There's been a weeks where he was working like 32-35 hours..... He loves hanging out with his family, and he and his wife are very smart shoppers, so it works out... It really does depend what is more important to you....
