  2. So, I figure I'd throw out a nice, harmless topic. Have you cars got their springtime cleaning yet? I've found some good deals on wax, so as soon as it warms up, they should get a nice wash and wax. I've already started cleaning up the inside, but I'm debating about either getting a carpet cleaner, or maybe letting the a place clean it for me. It's been a rough winter, and the cars are starting to show it.
  3. Avoid the Aveo/G3 twins..they are very hit and miss...you might get a good one..or- you know... Local dealership won't even sell me one..they go right to the Cobalt....

  5. Oh.. Turns out the old one is useless (can't shake the disk read error, even after taking it apart and cleaning it) And, I think something is going in the slim.
  6. That sucks DF.... Lost a few pets myself...Know the feeling.... Are you considering a new Kitty?

  9. Thanks...I'm pulling the slim tonight and trying the old one...Strange part is that everyone I know is unloading the newer slims for the older PS2s...

  14. I wonder what's up with that? I've been on a hockey kick lately, so I decided to pick up NHL 09. (for ps2) I've played quite a bit of NHL 07, so I knew what to expect. 09 was a disaster, loading for anything took forever....so I gave up and got NHL 08. 08 is close to 07, so figured it should work fine. It works much better, but it freezes up during games ( I have yet to finish one) I know I had issues with the slim, and I even blew the dust out. It plays WWE wrestling, Nascar, and kingdom of hearts fine. I haven't tried 07 yet, but I will. Should I expect these games to freeze up?
