  2. Wow....
  3. Yep, I'd consider a beater...you should see what 13 Michigan winters have done to my wagon... (what?- I still have metal left? ) I'd agree with a full truck..they come in handy.. What about a older Saturn? There are quite a few around here...and the 91-95s are cheap, and they run forever....
  4. The wagon is pretty cool..but I don't see them that often... Though a wagon with a bike rack and some nice wheels... But as far as engines, if it does city/highway (no hills) either is fine with me..
  5. I just saw a 08 Balt in that color....in the light-it gives off a red tint....and they charge extra for it. It's ok...I guess. I'll stick to the Imp. Blue Met or Slade Met thank you...
  6. I was getting worried there.... Yep, that car is an all day wax job....
  7. I like it. Even the wheels are nice...I like simple wheels, not those crazy looking wheels... When I have to replace the wagon, I really would like a saturn... I'm not sure whether I want a coupe or sedan... My buddy has a 2002 sl1...and it drives nice, and it is great on gas... If I could get a nice one for under 5, ....
  8. used GTO used CTS
  9. what year is the wagon?
  10. just the Impy....so far..
  11. Happy B-day!
  12. Hmmm... 2000+ Mailbu- Cheap to get, 3.1 is very solid... 2000+ Cavalier-besides the annoying dash "rattle" or "shake", these cars tend to be very good first cars . Quite often they can be found under 7 grand with low miles. Just avoid the 2000-01 Z24s with the 2.4, as this engine tends to have water pump issues...ones with the 2.2 or 2.2 Ecotec will run for a long time and are very dependable...like the 3.1 above, with care 150,000 miles no no problems... 2000+ Century- same dependable 3.1, but more toys for the money. Easy to find low milage versions, as the owners selling are either too old to drive or dead... -just kidding) Often well cared for-and if you like sunroofs and leather.... 2000 S-series- Freakin kick butt first cars...they run forever, and they don't rust...can't beat that. The 1.9 is pokey, but is quite good on gas. depends if you want a coupe or sedan....though both are nice looking...and tend to be pretty cheap.... These are just a few...I can add more....
  13. Or I could do it someone I don't like..... I get the feeling some people would be very happy if I left a large rock (with not) on the hood of a certain tan taurus...
  14. I think the basic point is- if you are going to pay that much for a car-it damn well better be good. TLs are not cheap-and rarely discounted.... While most domestics can be had for a nice discount...(thank you, perception...) IF I bought a TL-I expect nothing short of perfection....
  15. Hope he gets better soon...
  16. Thanks though-I'll take a look!
  17. Congrats. Heck, I'm not even at 3000 yet.... Myself I should share myself... :AH-HA_wink:
  18. Nope ocn, it's a mark, not a ding.... It took the paint right off of the strip-leaving a black color... I'm guessing that the strips themselves are black before they were painted silver (on the line)...... As soon as I get the camera back, I'll try to take a pic.
  19. Actually, I did. I know one of the people who did it-but- since he did not leave any tan paint on the car, cops said it would be his word againist mine. I wish I would have had my camera, which sadly, I let a friend borrow it hours before to take pictures of his car... Talk about timing....
  20. It can work for some older cars, but I would be afraid to put it a car less than a few years old...for fear it might be too strong for the fuel system itself. I've heard a few good stories, in trucks, Neons, Cavaliers, and even an Impy... If you want a good cleaning, Seafoam works pretty well....
  21. Agreed. Same issue here...
  22. One of the people visits here....but since there is no tan paint on my car-cops said that there was nothing they could do ..
  23. Well, too late for payback... Anyways, the rear I should able to buff out... Though the rubstrip, on the other hand, doesn't look good. It's a nice sized black mark (dent) that really sticks out on the silver paint... Any ideas on how to make it go away? I was thinking touch up paint, but would that work on the strip?
