  1. Nope..it wiped ou quite a bit..... It sounds like it might be almost a brand new computer by the time that I get it back.... At least it's not going to cost a crazy amount of money...
  2. Sweet! Sounds like fun!
  3. Well, maybe it's trying to tell me to stop post whoring... My motherboard took a major you-know-what a few days ago..taking ALL my info with it.... They couldn't even save the pictures I downloaded the day before.. (you might have got a see a pic of me. lol. ) Looks up to about 3 weeks...I plan to pop on...just once in while for the next few weeks.... It just sucks...didn't even see it coming.....
  4. Very cool..what color is it?
  5. That sucks... You still get your money bacK?
  6. Looking at it now...I think Kia.. Hmmm.... Needs more work on the outside....chrome wheels (better ones), for example. What a waste. They should have just killed this and just spent more money on the rest of the Buicks....

    That's IT!

What's wrong with driving a tank with wheels?

    That's IT!

    That just made my day!
  9. Hmmm...not that bad. And unless Chevy has something up it's sleeve-will blow the doors off the Cobalt....
  10. I too, would have to agree with the guys above. Fun what you need. Something a bit crazy, even. With all my stresses lately, I need to get out more myself. Gotta think of some fun summer plans...
  11. Ahh... Doesn't look too bad...
  12. A 3.1 in my 93.... I've replaced a bit already, but to no success.... My check engine light will come on and off...almost seems confused at times....
  13. That's it-honey, we're packing our bags! Any room left for me in that little state? :AH-HA_wink:
  14. Hmm...in early 90s Cavaliers(93)- the IAC would be on top of the engine-toward the back-right? (Think I've spotted this little guy before)
  15. Can't help you there-but it sure sounds like fun!
  16. I think you're right. Question is-where do I go? Chi-town doesn't sound too much...and they even have a hockey team...
  17. If you don't mind me asking-why Duncan? Beautiful beaches? Good looking women?
  18. Kinda like the bad parts of Inkster. :AH-HA_wink:
  19. Sweet... Question though-What if it fuel injected-not carbureted? I heard it's also a common issue on the 3.1s..(like mine) Is that actually true? (not sure on this one)
  20. Yep. I won't dare to go to Flint now.... I'm a prime example of how bad our local economy is. I've been laid off more times in less than five years more than my dad who has worked over 30 years at GM. Not good. Bank owned homes are everywhere..many not in great shape... I'm growing very tired of this area...even though I still love to call it home. I'm also getting tired of my crappy job-I've been looking for better for quite a while now. It's looking like another (kinda young) college grad is leaving Michigan...... It's a tough choice-one I have to make before our lease is up in the summer.... ( Wow, I don't usually open up that much...)
  21. OK, now it's warm enough to get to work on this thing. Tell me as much as possible about the idle air control valve. I'm pretty darn sure this what it is, though it's tough to get a reading on it, because a few times it tells me different parts..... I'm replacing the IAC, fuel filter, PCV....... I'm hoping this will stop the rough idle (much worse in warm weather/warming up a while), SUV gas milage (it's back), and the lack of pick-up that it has...and the fact that changing speeds (mostly slowing down) throws the check engine light on.... If this doesn't work, I'm going to assume it might be something worse....
  22. What break..... LOts of stuff to do-so little time!
  23. I'd take any Impy like that...I love those big Chevys....
  24. Yes, sadly, it is a common thing. Very Common for those 95 up. My mom has a 99, about 4 years back one fell off during an auto car wash..... GM never made the mirrors right for those cars...too wide, too heavy... It's hard to keep mirrors on a box... :AH-HA_wink: If you take care of them though-they will run forever...
