  1. The Wrangler really does look good in that color...
  2. I understand where you are coming from, but you only need to look at motor trend's truck of the year to see where things are headed... THe Tundra is not going to be an overnight thing. And there was another big reason why the Titan flopped-lack of choice-which is very important thing to truck people. The Tundra does offer choice. THink about it. What are they going to market? MPGs? Choice? Does everything your F-150 does? You bet. And loyalty in truckland is slowly chipping away...and as they do....
  3. I don't know why, but I like it.
  4. Agreed. It don't understand why they have two vans in a dying market... Even GM finally knows better...
  5. I kinda like it. It reminds me of an late 90s/early 00s Civic hatch... I would consider a base one, custom it up a bit, and make a nice commuter car out of it... Still gotta see it in person though...
  6. I'm sure if you see enough, it will grow on you. You have to admit, whether you like it or not, it is different.
  7. Agreed. Someone could really cozy up in there. THe Tundra does look nice, but is not as inviting... I think if you are going to spend some time in there, GM may be the way to go...
  8. I sure that it won't either. BUT, it is going to really start eating at those sales...
  9. I recommend you put your money where your mouth is-I will. I guess you forgot that image and marketing sells cars to the masses nowadays.. Something that Toyota is very good at. It will at least match the Silverado-it doesn't even have to beat it. This truck will not beat the door down right away....ir will be a slow but deadly strike to kill... You would have to be blind not to see that it will sell...... Maybe not in crazy numbers...but just eating away...... Had a problem with you silverado? Ram? Where do you think these people are going to go?
  10. Ditto.
  11. Maybe not so much about Bush, Sci, as some of them just take a look around their own areas... Times are not good. And they are not going to get better soon either... And of course blame is going to be everywhere....

    mute car

Very true. I am considering one after the wagon goes... A few of my friends have them- one has a 93 Sc1 with well over 250k on it...and still going...
  14. :rotflmao: Wow, that was pretty good...I just about choked on my Pepsi.....
  15. Happy B-day Josh!

    .....

Aren't we a little too worried about this? These trucks are not even out yet-makes them hard to compare...... Yes, the Tundra will sell, but how much has yet to be decided... ...it depends on what it can do. I think the new Silverado will make it to the party just fine , regardless of looks...... Toyota have new engines? The Silverado has given you choice for years.. Point is, you all need to relax.....
  17. That's what I'm hoping...
  18. I would have to agree with a good bit of that... I'm just glad I missed that TRL thing by a year...OOhh..those Backstreet boys... Explianing my music is tough, beacause I have always listened to just about everything.... Though "Ride the Train"-Quad City DJs brings back good times.... or "Baby I love your way"-Big mountain...
  19. Talk about a one track mind.... But I see you have ideas...and there is nothing wrong with that... B)
  20. Well, not quite peanuts.... The EGR part I need runs between 150-200 bucks... The hoses shouldn't be too bad though... But short of the starter (which is getting old-same one for 13 years), there are quite a few new parts on the car, as I have been trying to fix the bad idle on it...
  21.
  22. Reading that gives me hope that my wagon could get there... Good thing about the 3.1s is that they seem to run forever.... I'm wondering if I should invest a few more bucks into the cav to keep it a while longer myself. At 130k, it burns a bit of oil (never more than a 1/4 of a quart), and idles bad, bad runs pretty good above and beyond that. I wondering myself if I should invest the money for a new EGR, brake pads, and a new hose or two(small leak on hose toward the rad), or just pick up something new... Mute, I would hold out a while. I think the cars may just get cheaper if things get rough this summer....
  23. I wanna race a Cobalt...
  24. I think we are just so used to seeing them.... What will we do when they are gone... :(
  25. Nah, I think it is just the pic... Looks pretty good. I think they were testing a few of those around here...
