  1. I didn't think you ...or the others ...would agree. I think it would be easier for dark blue to reappear. Remember, they kept it in the Impala beyond 2000 and then it disappeared. Burgundy would be too much of a throwback, though done in a real dark, mahogany like color, it could be ok and considered tasteful for the new millenium. My feeling is the same about the sensation. On an overcast day, the forests of the Sierra Nevada need to be seen from a burgundy interior, with some good music and a couple of stops at coffee joints or Starbucks in the small towns. Black, tan and gray are all too sterile, though tan is the best of that lot. Also, I agree about the low hp of the 3800. If it could get kicked up, it ought to stay. Why mess with success? I've driven a couple of 3900s...too noisy...noisier than the 3800...not upscale sounding AT ALL. Why The O.C. likes it as much as he does is beyond me.

  6. Wow. You've found a lot you don't like. They are aware of the back seat woes as they have been mentioned often in reviews. It's the price we pay for the roof line. An armrest in the back would be nice as the Monte (a Chevy) has it. Come to think of it, that steering wheel brushed applique will probably not age well. I think the cloth will probably be durable given that the velour in my 1992 is still intact, however, I don't like how it feels to the touch. When it was released in 2004, the cloth was atrocious. The biggest problem I have is the black dash to complement the beige seats. Horrible. I walked by a Cobalt yesterday and, for God's sake, it had a beige interior with a beige dash...on a car costing $ 5,000 to $ 10,000 less!

  8. Have you ever let out a nasty fart in an elevator when you are the only one in there ... and then exit the cab only to have others get on? That's great stuff, right?
  9. I went on a CATHOLIC ( ) retreat with my college (for a class) up in Santa Barbara. We could opt to go to this retreat and write a 2 page paper on how we had grown spiritually as a result of it for 20% of our grade. (We wrote the paper before we ever left for the retreat)! The weather was gorgeous and those of us in the same dorm had swim trunks on. We asked if it was possible to light farts. I put my legs up and turned someone's lighter on. Then I let one rip. Good God! It shot a flame about 4 feet out. It was almost scary but so funny. I laughed so hard for about 30 minutes that I was in tears! I DON'T recommend trying as the flame coming back at you might not be good. **** Also, there was a neigborhood in the metro area where I grew up called Wilmington. They had refineries there since it was close to the Port of Los Angeles at San Pedro. Sometimes, it stunk. Thus, if among some friends we passed a particularly sulphurous fart, we called it a "Wilmington Special."

  11. I don't know why...I don't have any stamina in the water but can stay on an elliptical, stair climber or run for a much longer period of time. Swimming seems to wear me out quickly and I sure wouldn't want to pass out in a pool in case someone didn't see me. Maybe I'm just neurotic.

  20. Like I've said elsewhere, it is an adult's go kart. Having rented them 5 to 10 times, I've essentially driven one the equivalent of crossing the US. I like it.What in the interior needs to be fixed besides the color issue and the fact that the buckets are too confining for a guy with an average build?
