  1. oh oh, red flag. Only 'volume models'.....
  2. you know he was keeping it bottled up inside......
  3. i liked the Granite, but i am seeing signs that mfr's seem to be backing away from putting too many more of these box type vehicles out. More than likely having the Encore in the Buick side sealed its fate. "People will pay more for a Buick box than a GMC", and probably because the Encore would resonate a lot more with women. It also helped that the design was already in place as an Opel.
  4. i think the Dart and Verano are darn close to identical in terms of dimensions.
  5. smoking crack in the Honda HQ......
  6. similar dimensions to an outlander sport with about 6 inches less wheelbase.....
  7. an attractiveness and a uniqueness to it, but my fear is its too small for a lot of shoppers........
  8. 13 cf is not too much to ask for. it doesn't matter what segment of car, a small trunk can be a deal killer......
  9. trunk way too small-big problem, that rwd suspension really chews up the space, eh....
  10. hybrid mpg is amazing though, that may be the fusion to get!
  11. pleasant enough, Aston knockoff. Doesn't bowl me over, but I do think it will be popular. Blunt and tall hood is a bit concerning I suppose its for Euro pedestrian standards. Looks large, will it cut into Taurus sales? Does look a little like the Mazda6 currently....they are distinct to some degree but the greenhouse does have some M6 overtones. Interior is logical and kinda rakish, I think Audi fans will like it, etc. At the same time very different than the Focus. Even some common themes with the Explorer inside. Still its not a jaw dropper to me. Will be nice to see the materials once its done.
  12. Like how they softened the Art and Science and overall very nice exterior. Although I had expected something with a lot more depth and sculpting of shapes, it made sense the way Caddy did it because for example they appear to be maximizing trunk and cabin space. I especially like how the hood is not so ungodly long like on the German cars. That suggests to me some more efficient packaging (or they moved the windshield ahead quite a bit). The interior is just photos but based on what it shows it looks like a bland interior design. That does not mean a bad interior, I just wish it would have pushed the envelope with shapes and forms and some non traditional elements. And the gauges look kinda blah...... seats look thin and cheap in the picture....
  13. 3200 pounds = heavier than the Cruze isn't it?
  14. what is your average speed? 36.1 mpg= nice.....
  15. (sure, with 6-7000 on the hood).
  16. translation, batteries will continue to be expensive and are not close to totally replacing the behavior of the gas tank and engine with convenience. I do think Volt is the future, and eAssist type stuff is a great bridge. I am sure hybrid synergy drive will be able to fulfill the needs of ecoweenies emotionally for the foreseeable future. If gas cars average 25mpg now, the moment our cars average 50mpg, the price of gas will at least be double.
  17. interior looks to be darn nice!
  18. front seats look yummy but Dodge steering wheel looks way out of place......side profile looks like current sentra with a few old Neon overtones and a tiny hint of Elantra mixed in.....
  19. and why is it so heavy?
  20. as long as you can keep it out of the shop......
