i would have gotten a lancer or mazda3 or jetta/rabbiit over a corolla. corollas are big time fleet cars now. we'll see how that toyota resale holds up when they hit the auctions en masse.

i do like to wear black stuff, but that's only because black is 'slimming' and goes with just about anything else. Unlike other architects, I don't wear black because that's my mood. I wear black stuff sometimes because its versatile. I do usually wear somewhat trendy glasses, but not the hardcore trendy ones where the other 99% of the population sees you and goes, 'either that guy is retarded or is an architect'. I am right handed but use the computer mouse on the left hand because all the years of cad have reduced my right wrist to painful mush. Come to think of it, it does kind of hurt when you -ahem- . there is some brief image retention on the plasma from the displayed text of the apple tv, but the screen saver wipes it away after a couple minutes. this is the only instances I have had retained images on my plasma ever. If the text was not brite white I think i would not have the retained images. The apple tv screen saver kicks in after a couple minutes. I wish I could get that down less.

Christ, here we go with the media sucking Honda's ***** again. Diesels were the equivalent of Satan at Carrie's prom, especially with Californians and ecoweenies and the press, and now all of a sudden Japan Inc is gearing up the PR machine so that when Honda says they have a diesel, it will all of a sudden be Jesus Christ on a stick. Toyota has to have the hybrids now so Japan Inc said to Honda 'you are diesels now'. Start the PR machine now so all the US housewives and tree huggers will think diesel is a new technology to save the day that only a Japanese company can provide. Once CR gets a hold of this, diesel will become golden and another thing the press will take potshots at Ford and GM for. So how is it diesel will all of a sudden become OK? because the H is on the grille. Knowing Honda though, the damn things will still lack torque. They'll probably have a 'V-Tec diesel' you gotta get 80% to redline to get any power out of. No way I trust a Japanese diesel other than Isuzu until it's been on the road awhile. Same thing with Honda's turbos, no way I trust a Honda turbo until it's been tested 100k miles. I would most certaintly trust a VW diesel. I would trust a Mercedes or BMW diesel. I hope Honda has done their homework, they usually do....but then look at Tundra camshafts and Camry sludge, etc. Sometimes the Asian brands try so hard to optimaize their engineering they actually under engineer things. I sure hope they don't make flimsy headbolts, for example.

theta is not as rugged. it was meant as a small sport ute. and when they tried to beef it up in the new vue it got heavy anywyas. start over with a real platform and give the vehicle some WIDTH and get the damn window swtiches on the doors too. the eq. is way narrower than the edge. the perception of their sizes do not even compare in the real world. equinox is a cute ute. edge is the next class. why else would mkx be on the same platform? theta is not comparable to a lincoln.

NO. something bigger than the theta. something at a minimum Edge sized. Width mostly. the 3 row could be between an acadia and a suburban.
