  1. oh.
  2. that was timberwolves player Eddie Griffin. o c'mon, who HASN'T HAD sex in a car while driving? We should start a poll. My guess is it's about 80 yes 20 no.
  3. sweet. i recently got an Apple TV. ROCKS! Video quality is not full HD yet, but what it really is is an Ipod for your TV and a way to play the video content of your iTunes on a big TV. At this time, the convenience outweighs quality issues for me. I had gotten a 40gb model and when I saw they came out with a 160gb model last week I took my first one back and ordered the new one. Took about 5-10 minutes to get the new one connected and then I synced it up and got all my iTunes on there. Thing is great. The kid is watching Wonder Pets right now. I didn't have to fumble through 10 dvd's. Just a few clickys on a whim and BAM it's on screen! Gonna order some SpongeBob tonight. The access to my music collection is unprecedented. I can find any album in a few clicks and have it up and playing on a whim. The album art looks WAY cool on the big TV.
  4. I cannot believe Mr. Stern is allowing this go on any longer. DULL SLOW BORING CRAPPY SPURS BASKETBALL. Tim Duncan is the most boring NBA star in history. The don't exactly play LEGAL ball. Robert Horry warms the bench all year so come playoff time he has legs to hit three pointers at key times. And other little tricks to piss people off. Who wants to watch 58-57 games? SPURS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!! DULL DULL DULL DULL DULL DULL DULL! I'd rather watch ocnblu in the wading pool! MY GOD THE SPURS SUCK! GO LEBRON!
  5. YOU MUST PEE ORANGE FROM ALL THE KOOL AID YOU ARE DRINKING. "My tundra looks ugly because they designed the sheetmetal to flex at the right harmonic frequency when hitting freeway expansion joints" you must have never done manual labor on a job site, or construction work or farm work. a half a day on a farm site or job site and that piano black will look disgusting and slimy and be a beeoch to clean. trucks are for work, not for admiring the reflection of your manicured hands in the glow of the piano black trim.
  6. I've found it makes no difference to me if she uses her left hand or right hand to do that to me. The real important question is, which breast hangs lower....the right one or the left one?
  7. I like what Mercury does. Hot thin chicks peddling cars. Do you think anyone cares what the car is? Making any claims of any sort regarding fuel economy is not doable because people will sue and say, "I'm not getting advertised mpg". They can tout epa numbers but nothing else.
  8. the chevy lambda should be a 2 row and then a 3 row that is larger than the acadia....not much larger, but larger. think somewhere on the way to suburban.
  9. timing belts poor crash performance for a seriously heavy vehicle snapping camshafts piano black trim in a utility vehicle they don't get it yet
  10. i like peuguot but this is even testing that.
  11. considering some VW's have it in the pork factor I can forgive the Vue's high curb weight. the small cargo area is more upsetting. Who knows on the mpg. in the end, the DELICIOUS interior and nice exterior and supposed great manners make it a desirable ride. Yes, you can buy a larger CUV and get the same mpg, but some folks like the smaller size for condo garages and parking and stuff. GM by next time will be engineering everything in India or china or korea, so they will tell them to lay off the billet steel next time. At some point, some mfr has to make a large 3 row all aluminum crossover that stays under 4000 pounds. Contrary to belief, the old Vue with honda v6 was not that quick. I drove one. The shifter was slow to respond and there was throttle lag and some driveline sloppiness. It really was nothing to remember. Being a Honda, it lacked some torque, too. My guess is the new Vue will feel quicker and more urgent. The new Vue is a great overall package and deserves to sell huge. Some folks are singles or couples and don't need the huge trunk or passenger space. The only time they have passengers is the trip to Olive garden. I would lean towards an Edge or Acadia for a little more money, lots more room, and the same mpg. I need the room. A good light crossover is the Taurus X. Great mpg, 3 rows, good handling, lots of cargo and seating room and like 42-300 pounds. Should have better acceleration than the vue. one issue, it's damned bad to look at. That doesn't seem to be an issue for people who buy ugly foresters and tribecas and stuff.
  12. this topic could get poisoned.
  13. if the tahoe and yukon get 20mpg in town they will FLY OUT OF SHOWROOMS.
  14. Chrysler's design parti for the new vans (above)
  15. the guy needs to grow some balls. wife sounds like an uptight priss. auras have 100k pwtrn wty now too. we really need to put an end to letting women pick out cars. the guy ought to ask his wife if he can outsource her function to a korean and see what she thinks of that. Fusions are selling like snickers at the conv store around here. or like beer in wisconsin. And ALL are YOUNG drivers. Lots of CAMLEES being sold but guess who's driving them? OLD people. blue hairs, boomers, the 40+ and 50+ set, and a few late thirties and up. I think I've seen at least 5 new fusions on the work lot in the last few months. just recently it seems the aura is picking up too, i see those now also, not as many as fusion tho.
  16. just watched it. f-cking scares me.
  17. those a pillars look as fragile as drinking straws. love the car though.
  18. basically, the cartel in japan has decided that since toyota is known for hybrids, it would be in the JP national best interest for honda to not compete in hybrids anymore, but to use their resources to fight against the euro diesels instead. so there will be no competition between toyo and honda and each will get annointed by greenies as leaders in the other. watch all the greenies come out of the woodwork as diesel bangers once honda puts one out. then the press will praise honda for hooking onto such leading edge tech and they'll use it as an op to rip GM to shread for its maligned diesels from 30 years ago. by then, toyo will have the prius 'brand' out and so anything honda does with the diesel from a PR standpoint will just be more press fodder, like honda is on to something new and is the only company to ever have made a diesel. money is already being set aside to shove under the table to CR and anyone else honda friendly in the past.
  19. don't tweak me, dude. you seriously mean this cts will play the dvd-audio 5.1 surround mixes? i thought only the acuras did that. oh i am so cts now.
  20. the main difference between this and the other thread is that you are young and can wait the situation out and let it linger a bit...let it develop. If you were 28 like in the other thread and dealing with the '30' milestone you'd have a more urgent situation. Sit back and let this one develop naturally.
  21. he bought a zephyr!
  22. i love all the fantasy football going on here.
  23. drive an aura xr and you quickly get why 4 speeds and pushrods are not sufficient.
