if i replaced our two vehicles right now it would likely be a GMC Acadia and Ford Edge. Problem is they are both not cheap. There are plenty of sedans I like, but right now I need more of a CUV type thing. If I were single and loaded a 335i would be the ticket.

acura won't be able to move upmarket much. for one, its a tarted up honda. two, its japanese....not german. Third, they can't design well enough to meet the cache factor that is required to move up market. Honda has never shown any ability to be a credible style leader. Fourth, the hardware is not there. they need v8's and rear drive biased platforms.

nice glory hole in the crotch of that steering wheel. I bet on payment 14, it sprouts pubic hair. too many buttons on the dash, and that gray leather is ugly. tan does this vehicle better. Otherwise, its a nice ride. Another nice but overpriced Honda.

I tested one at the full throttle ride and drive last weekend. Its ok. It won't dethrone the Camcord. you have the perspective of being able to compare it to the Aura. I bet the Aura is better executed overall. You can see my comments on it in another topic under this board.

I am not sure why the buff books kept ripping pontiac for the red lighting. I LOVE the red lighting in our aztek. its easy on the eyes. I wish they would maybe mix in another color though. i like the new torrent gauges and the center stack looks nice too. Did they move the window swtiches to the door? That's a big flaw that needs fixing. With these interior upgrades it makes the Torrent a good choice, but I really need to see the 3.6/6 sp. under the hood before I would even consider it. I wish they would upgrade the plastic and leathers too.

No, not in your case, because you also got the car you wanted. I like to use my sister as an example. She bought an Elantra after her Focus, because it had the long warranty and was a bit cheaper. She actually had no issues with her Focus. But after she traded it for the Elantra she found she didn't like it as much as her Focus. She puts a ton of miles on so she was drawn to the warranty, but in the process she did not get exactly what she wanted and is not completely happy with it. Now what may be happening is people might actually like their Hyundais enough so they do not have remorse, OR, they are kidding themselves thinking that they got a top notch car. I have driven the Cobalt and think its a fine, desirable car. You can justify buying one, just out of want, and not only because of price and warranty. in your case, you liked the car AND got a good warranty and price. In the final take, my guess is you did not buy only because of price and warranty and end up getting less than you wanted.

so, Honda is the golden boy right now. I have a hard time believing people actually like their Kias and Hyundais. They are just happy they have a cheap price and long warranty. You never pick Hyundai or Kia because you want to, you pick them because of price and warranty and personal guilt. Lots of folks who buy Kias and Hyundais are ones who maybe never bought a car NEW before, or they are afraid to pay going prices on the car they really wanted. Let's all join in and smack toyota down to size.
