  1. i am amazed they could even tool up at all with an ALL NEW PLATFORM
  2. crappy interior dated exterior. everyone has one. thin sheet metal. there are about 20 other sedans i would take first before the pre 07 altima. maxima costs very little more. the 07 is majorly improved visually and in the interior. i would take an accord ex v6 before the current altima, and about 20 other sedans. the 2007 i like.
  3. it would be so sweet to drive one of those.
  4. MN is pretty restrictive and the liberal intelligentsia is overbearing. Still its a fairly free state. SD should be near the top. No state tax, no many other rules. ND same way except state tax.
  5. as i get older and raise my child i understand and appreciate more and more who he was and why he was what he was before he mellowed over time. now that he is not under pressure of raising 3 kids and many other family issues, he is a great source of wisdom and encouragement for me. I still think some of his approaches to solving situations are dated, and he's cheap, and his political views can be suspect, but now i realize all he ever was trying to do was to love his family and kids and provide for them and do whatever he felt he needed to do to keep us all safe and out of trouble and loved. considering all that, i am grateful to have him.
  6. maybe people discovered the LX cars were fat pigs when loaded down. or maybe this does prove again that cheap interiors kill sales more than anything else.
  7. The Aspen really presents itself well in person. In this case, people, reserve your blog daggers until you see a deep blue one or black one drive by. You will change your tune.
  8. HOW BOUT ASS KICKER?
  9. "I always loved that one"
  10. well, Nissan and Mercury hightailed it out of there.
  11. the twins have kicked ass without Radke also. I am flabberghasted by it all. But hey, having anyone over 300 in the lineup and any 100 rbi guys is more rare than Nicole Richie at the KFC buffet.
  12. notice all the fine AUDIesque detailing
  13. this just in, i was noticing the awfully terrible horrible interior plastics and it reminded me of the prototype spy photo for this vehicle which also showed the cheeseball interior
  14. Ted's 'pull my finger' test........
  15. my hot milfy excoworker has a new hemi laoded durango. i know i told her about this one coming out and she would have been interested, but needed something then. I will say, at first i didn't like the durango, but after i actually SAT in hers, i'd say its nice enough. I don't really look at the durango/aspen as a GM competitor because it is perceived to be smaller, and it might actually be true. It does feel smaller. The interior is not bad. Not great, just not bad. That said, I've always hated the new Durango front end, one of those "WTF" kind of things. I was on a Chrysler Jeep lot on Saturday and looked at the new Aspen. The new Chrysler front end really fixes the vehicle and matches the rest of the body quite well. It's really handsome in PERSON. The new front looks really good. I would still get a YUKON or something first, for sure, but if I had to settle for the Aspen, life would not end. Its a good step up product from the Grand Cherokee and fills the niche the Commander does not for the C/J dealers.
  16. look over your shoulder, we're coming..........
  17. thx.....for all the good advice. i kind of came to the realization that if i get one, i have to do it right, there's too much $$$ at stake.
  18. AND ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY ARE BUILT IN THE SAME FRICKING PLANT, INTERCHANGIBLY, AND THEY SHARE THE SAME GENERAL STRUCTURAL PROPORTIONING AND BODY RELATIONSHIPS
  19. SOMEBODY GETS IT
  20. true story, exactly one year ago i said yes to the sales manager in the nissan dealer on a new quest. price, everything, agreed. 5 minutes later she comes to me and says 'i can't deliver it to you, they just put a hold on them from Nissan because of a recall'. Her solution, they would give me an Altima to drive for as long as it took. i drive a ford now. i would NOT take the altima. this new one i like.
  21. word. now tell your wives that.
  22. hey, TOYOTA has become an American compnay, just what they always wanted......how do i know? Now they have resorted to cheapening their interiors like all the other American car comapnies have had to! Toyota, you've finally did it!
  23. if you love the power of the hemi than that's pretty much your decision maker right there.
  24. trina, do your scary admin staff like the one who opens your mail or the ones that want to hump you, do they smoke? in college I always said and it pretty mcuh was true that women who smoked were easier and also had no 'oral hangups' if you know what i mean. if you wanted to find a ho who you knew would go H3 on you, just find a smoker chick and you were pretty much there. you knew it was an easy take.
  25. i doubt anyone can sum it up any more truthfully. my dad, cigarettes, 50+ year. he hacks so bad you'd swear he was losing innards. My 80+ yo FIL and late 70's MIL both smoke and they must have been doing it for over 60 years. They don't really hack much though, but BOY DO THEY REEK>! its just disgusting. but i do think it would be neet to have a few when drinking. ia lways had fun with that in college. at one of the recent work outings when the ladies at the table were lighting up adn getting lit also, I wanted to join in a get a ciggy buzz.
