  1. ...and you should see how it drives. Beyond bad.
  2. RWD is way over rated, esp. for a sedan like this. It will sell, and will be great anyways. . . . <flame on>
  3. meh. Looks like it was taken near Valley of Fire here near Vegas!
  4. Hell, even Hyundai will have a RWD sedan V6/V8 before GM; Sad.
  5. Correct. The H3 is already a slow, overweight, 'look at me' joke. My in-laws have one now. Drove it. So slow it is dangerous. This just magnifies the uselessness. It confirms the adage: " you can put a candle in a cow pie, but it doesn't make it a birthday cake".
  6. "He insits that Hummer needs to maintain its 4WD reputation by ensuring that all its vehicles have a separate chassis, short overhangs, class-leading approach, breakover and departure angles, ample ground clearance and signature Hummer styling cues." How about the need to just be able to safely pass others on a uphill stretch? My in-laws just got an H3 and I drove it for several days. I hated it. Cartoonish looks, slower than slow, sucks gas even for a 5, nearly 2.5 tons, and very hard to see out of those tank slit windows. I got back in my Vue and realized just why I got it. They have had it two weeks and already are complaining about it. Neverless, they brag to even strangers 'that's my Hummer'. What a joke.
  7. First they took my job Then they take what Buick should be HERE. Nuke 'em. Now.
  8. NOW I want one. Would make a great replacement for my Intrigue!
  9. syllabus change:It won't be Pheaton money. Revisit lesson.
  10. Ya, anyone writing them off so far has been proven wrong. Other car makers doing so, do so at thier own peril I'd say. I for one, and bet there are others, could not give a rat's a_s about the badge. Give me near lux with a RWD V8 for less than 300C cash, with a great warrantee, and already now solid quality rep., and I am there. Note they will be in the RWD v8 Sedan sector before Chevy and Ford. Thier enemy isn't Toyota or Honda anymore, its these guys.
  11. Exactly.Of course I still have a problem with these guys who stole my job (outsourcing don't cha know), now stealing the styling gig!
  12. My in-laws just got an H3. Seems ok, but its way overwieght, horrible gas mileage and smaller inside than my Vue for christs sake. No, they won't ever take it off road. My 'bad' side likes it, but overall its a joke. Buyers like them who buy for the so called image, are even funnier. He in Vegas, its the norm. Of course this place has the highest per capita of DA's with money on the planet, so it fits. I'll take an Outlook or Acadia any day over this.
  13. OK, ok, as long as they give it time to 'take' with customers, as they didn't with the 'new' Oldsmobile.
  14. ''Yes, we'd all be shiny, happy people driving Priuses..the sky would always be blue [Vegas, check]..every day would be sunny [check] and warm[check].. no crime.[oh well] .no traffic jams.. [ditto]
  15. Should have called it 2+2
  16. agreed, and my '03 seems larger. I saw this at the LA show and in fact the interior is narrower. That makes it a 'non-runner' replacement. Best part of the gen 1 was small outside, big inside.
  17. Actually they updated the W pretty well. Ya, I'd rather have the boring Camry over an Imp LTS or SS any day. LOLDitto the Lacross Super.
  18. I lube the ISS myself monthly for less than a buck and 5 minutes time. You'd also be wrong by saying 'Literally everyone"...
  19. Actually, the Intrigue was consider one of the best in class early on. read the road tests for ref. Ya, I'm biased- I bought one.
  20. 2 5 4 nice work you three. Nice styling and design elements!
  21. make mine...that color!
  22. Agreed. Huge waste of effort and cost better used elsewhere inside GM. In fact, just drop the thing.
  23. Exactly. Lutz had the same pie in the sky projections for the Monaro->GTO. I say build it here with Pontiac's own design language, share factories with Impala and Camaro. 50k a year? Who's he kidding? Commit to RWD, and do it here. Chrysler did, Ford will.
