1. Have you seen the production Challenger interior?
2. I can't see any wagon coming from the next Impala or from Holden. If the Magnum couldn't break the perception of wagons 4R3 T3|-| $U(|< 1 \/\/4|\|T |\/|Y G4$ $U(|<1|\|G $UV!1!111 then I doubt anything can.
3. Hey it's your opinion more power to ya, but I personally can't see how this... could be rated as better looking than this. To me, it's like the Ford designers gave up and just used straight lines and squares. I hated that type of look on the SuperDuty and it doesn't look much better here. The Ram looks mean, sleek, and sporty at the same time. I love the canted grill and how it pays homage to the Charger, and how it has that one-piece bumper on the Sport model. Combine that with the integrated exhausts and it looks ultra sleek.
4. saw a new Liberty while I was in Arkansas. Lots of old Chevy pickups and old Rams too. Lots of old everything for that matter. It amazes me that what looks like rusted ass up in New England looks very good down there.
5. You rated the F-150 as one of the best looking? Has all of the chrome on the Platinum model blinded you? We're not shocked about there being an HD Ram, but in the past the HD was identical to the light duty. If the designers differ this time around it will be a first for the Ram lineup. I just hope it looks better than what happened to the HD Sliverado.
6. Instead of harping on the automakers, how about the hugely inefficient and far more pollutive coal factories and other facilities that dump millions of tons of toxins into the atmosphere, and account for far more pollution than cars do. Why not get on their asses to make them clean up their act and be more eco friendly? Oh right, as I recall several years back the current administration cut back on environmental regulations that would require them to clean up their act.
7. It's not better at all. The two cars were designed with a different philosophy. The Camaro was designed with the goal of creating modern car with retro elements. The Challenger was designed to make a retro car with modern elements. No doubt it was designed that way to please muscle car fans who disliked the Charger's 4 doors and non retro styling. To say one is better than the other from an objective design standpoint is unfair because they where designed with different philosophies. Of course you just happen to like one's styling over the other that's fair.
8. What is more badass than a Saleen Mustang replica of Barricade that says "To Punish and Enslave" on the sides? Also a black Challenger SRT-8 would be nice too.
9. I see...the RWD SXTs lost the 5-speed but the AWD models keep the 5-speed.
10. So take one Ford Edge, microwave it until melted, stuff it, chill, and add Camry grill. Instant Venza...it's a sedan!
11. Happened once today, first time so far.
12. I don't see why the Impala can't go Zeta and why Zeta can't be a high-volume platform. RWD can work as a high volume platform, just ask Chrysler. Even with CAFE, you don't see Chrysler $h!ting their pants and ready to cancel LY. Why would they if the RWD formula has proven successful, and if the platform is most likely nearly complete? Why would GM scrap a Zeta based Impala for something FWD? They don't have any readily available large FWD platforms anyway besides the G-Bodys. Why waist more money investing in a new FWD platform when an excellent RWD platform already exists? If you build it off Epsilon than you have a vehicle that would cannibalize Malibu sales. I may be missing something, but to me it matters not which wheels are putting the power down just the efficiency of the powertrain to please CAFE.
13. What's wrong with dash mounted ignitions? Isn't it the column mounted ones that most people bitch about or do you just prefer the shiny button? I don't like the center stack either but at least it's silver and not black.
14. Since the car is being discontinued I'm certain you could find good deals on one.
15. So if the guy is obviously at fault why weren't you able to get a rental out of his insurance?
16. Well as far as winter goes, you can get AWD with the Magnum, you can't with the MAXX. AWD > FWD in the winter.
17. Here's my best looking list. 09 Ram Sierra Silverado F-150 Titan Tundra
18. It should please you to know that the Cruise Control has been fixed and is in a more normal place. The LX's are still the best vehicles Chrysler makes, with the exception of the upcoming Ram it seems, and maybe the Wrangler and discontinued Pacifica. I'm gonna miss the Magnum, I'll be sure to pick one up sed someday. As an engine, the 2.7L really isn't that bad. It sounds relatively good and is pretty smooth through most of teh Rev range. It's no powerhouse but for base engine it's ok. As long as they fixed the issues that plagued the LH models it's a decent motor. I'd go for at least the 3.5L though. Reasonable fuel economy and good power plus another gear in the tranny.
19. You go to StarShmucks?
20. Its' cool, I also like the Dell XPS.
21. That's awesome, I can't wait to see what the HD will look like.
