Taken as a whole the HHR SS (couldn't they have just named it "Sport")? is a big step ahead from the normal model. Still, while the review from the outset has a negative overtone, it's just compltely without reason. Facts are facts and compared with the MazdaSpeed3 it doesn't turn as sharply, the steering is not as crisp and natural, its suspension isn't as good, and it doesn't handle as well. It's not OMG T3H BIAS!!11 either...it's common sense. The Mazda has a more advanced suspension, isn't stuck with electric steering, has a lower center a gravity, and so on. MazdaSpeed3 simply had a better, more advanced vehicle to start with. Chevy had a less advanced vehicle. Ocn, you seem to be grabbing at straws. The MazdaSpeed6 is coming back with the next generation..it's not uncommon for trim levels to start to disappear shortly before a model is redesigned...look at the Vibe for example. As for the PT bashing, the PT, despite being older, has come out ahead in comparison tests, and has been noted for having a better interior with more personality (although I hate the seats, far too narrow for me). Overall I'd say that that the HRR SS is pretty good...it's probably not as hardcore as the SRT4 or the 3, which will attract some buyers. The SRT4 is a monster for those who want one, and the 3 is the sharpest and most dedicated sport hatch. edmunds review is unnecessarily harsh yes, but at the same time valid points, both good and bad, are brought up.

Well we just got about 9 inches, now we're gearing up for 4-8 inches plus ice.

2009 Hyundai Sonata Commercial from Korea

The interior design is a big step up from the old one...the front end not so much...I don't know if I think it's any better or not. -
I love Autoblog's article title: "Aw Snap!"

Because I was too lazy to do it a month ago

Yep, I was extremely lucky and the day I went to look for the parts the junkyard I normally go to (and stopped at first) had one..same color and everything. Only damage it had as far as the parts I needed went was a dimple in one of teh bumper's corners...which the body shop popped out. I only had enough money to get it fixed and fitted...the quarter panel still needs some fine tuning to make it ready for paint (it looks remarkably good though), and then I'll paint it myself...but that'll have to wait until I have money and when it's warmer out. -
Bastards, I hope they find the asshole and run him over with his SUV. Poor car! But it's certainly fixable. Good luck.

It's official Fly: Toyota wants to kill your car

It would be nice if GM or someone showed people doinga nything to get out of an ugly Camry or an ugly, braking Tundra. they don't even have to make up excuses. -

So...what, they couldn't just fix them? Seems aweful wasteful. -
$890 is a good price considering what some others charge for a Nav. Granted the after market ones are cheaper, but I hate things being tacked onto the dash. I like purposeful integration...plus units like MyGig store files and music which makes them even better. As for Dual Zone, does it at least have rear vents? It does make a difference having vents in back.

You forgot pieces of $h!. -
You can't get a Nav in a LaCrosse...so you have to pay for a Lucerne in order to get that.

I just saw one of those Toyotathon commercials where they say "people will find any reason to buy a new Toyota" Anyway it showed them destroying noty one but two Oldsmobiles. The first was either an Alero or Intrigue...I couldn't tell because I wasn't paying much attention at first, and it was buried under a snow bank where a plow ripped it in half seconds later. The2nd one was a black first gen Aurora...the stupid bitch cut down a tree and had it land on the poor car. Toyota's coming for you fly....

Can't you demand a refund?

This argument is pathetic. Those of you who think such features should be reserved for Buick and Saturn and not for Chevy miss the point. Let's break it down. Chevy is the volume brand. No if ands or buts about it. Chevy competes squarely with the Accord, Camry, Avenger, Altima and so on. All of the above mentioned have features that the Malibu does not have. If the Malibu competes with this price class it should have features comparable to them. Furthermore, the argument about things like NAV, Bluetooth and so on is further made moot b the fact that this stuff is available on cheaper cars a class down from the Malibu. Aditionally, such standard options are not what differentiates the vehicles. Sheetmetal, interiors, materials, suspension tuning, and upmarket features are what separates the platform mates and other vehicles. Things like Adaptive Cruise control you would reserve for Buck and Cadillac, that's not something anyone would expect from a Chevy. Dual Zone climate control is. As others have said, the refusal to admit GM's mistakes and think "good enough" is good enough is the sort of mentality that lead to GM churning out crap for 20 or so years.

It's features you can get in most other midsizers and a growing number of compacts... It's excuse making and poor reasoning like that that got GM to where it was and why the last Malibu was a complete piece of garbage. Maybe you don't ride in a vehicle often with more than 2 people, but a lot of times the people in the back want a different temperature than the people up front. So what, because it's a Chevy the aren't allowed to have have nice things? I suppose a rear armrest is too much to ask too right? As for BlueTooth...with so many people driving while talking on cell phones, the less distractions they have (holding the phone, dialing, etc.) the better. In a way it's a safety device...since people can't seem to put down the damn phone anyway.

It terms of overall sales perhaps not, but in terms of casting a halo around the brand, and giving thousands of enthusiasts what they've been craving since 2002, it's a big deal. Aren't they aiming for pretty good sales numbers with it too? can't remember.
-
Who said that? When the Camaro concept was revealed they specifically said it looked far less production ready than the Challenger which debuted at the same show.
-
The rear quarters don't look like they flare out as much as he concept...it may just be poor camera/lighting/white car though.
-
Tell DreamHost to f@#k off and die and find a better host...almost anything is better than there crappy service. Way to handle customer relations by blaming the problem on the customer. Glad C&G is back up (for now)

We've had 2 wintery storms so far. Tonight will be rain, tomorrow could be a good sized snow storm, Sunday another wintery mess is on the way...awesome.
-
Yes, because a rear armrest, dual zone climate control, BlueTooth, and a Hard Drive to store music (so you don't get distracted trying change CDs while driving) are useless things that nobody would want. The G6 was an also ran the day it was released IMO. The 6 is a midsizer so it competes with any midsize car technically, but I get what you are saying about it being a more direct competitor to Pontiac...assuming Pontiac had something to compete with. If the Malibu had a less fussy transmission, and more features It would have beat the Altima, and perhaps even the Accord. All GM needs to do is add those features and improve the transmission programing.

2009 Kia Borrego caught in every angle.
Intrepidation replied to Diehard GrandPrix Fan's topic in Kia
Let's Compare. Wow man, they are like, TOTALLY alike. I suppose since the Traverse will have an upkick in the rear window it will be a knockoff of the Murano too right? You just contradicted yourself by saying the the front end looked like a Lexus, now it's a Pathfinder? I can give you the Lexus but not the Nissan. As for the tailgate... HOLY $h! BATMAN! TH3Y AR3 LIK3 S00000 ID3NTICAL!!1 Seriously, did you even look at the vehicles you're "comparing" it too before declaring OMG T3H A$$ LOOKS S0 MUCH LIKE A MINIVAN...(don't mind the fact that the tail lights are vertical on the van VS horizontal on the SUV) C'mon, you can do better than that. -
Looks like the last gen xB.
