  1. I just felt the need for a rant, in all honesty I can live with it, there's no dent and the scratch is small, it's just the principle of the thing. At least it wasn't the Intrepid, then $h! should have hit the fan.
  2. One of those rare times where the planets align and I agree with Reg
  3. Yep...happened again...same car too. So we've had the Prizm back for about 2 weeks now, I've been meaning to post about it but haven't got any good pics to show yet so I haven't done so. Anyway, I was working yesterday, coming back from my first delivery, I pulled onto the street beside work and parked on the side. There was a red Silverado in front of me and some other car in front of him. I backed up a bit to give him some extra room to pull out, so he had 5 feet or so plus the space between him and the other car. I lock up and start to walk to the shop. I notice he backing up and for some reason I felt compelled to watch...only to find the f@#king retard backing into my front bumper!!! He's about to pull away when I yell at him that he just hit my car. He stoped and gets out and we inspect the damage. I'm pissed but do my best to remain civil. He claimed his didn't see me but..uh...that's what f@#king mirrors are for. Plus he didn't need to back that far up in the first place. Then he says "Oh well, you're illegally parked/ (NO parking on that side between 8am and 5 pm, it's like 4:50pm and there was no place to park) I point out that he is too and he shuts up about that. I look at the front bumper and to my relief I guess, there only a small chip in the paint on the bumper...no dent. His trailer hitch hit it but it had some stupid plastic end cap that is what scratched the bumper and broke the bottom of it. It's not worth dealing with the insurance company, right after getting the last accident settled, so I let him go. What had me so pissed is that 1.) It happened at all. 2.) It happened, like the last accident, because of the other driver's like of the ability to use is damn brain. 3.) He tried briefly to blame me. I'm rip $h! pissed so when I get in the car and screech the tires and move it to a now open spot in front of work, which I don't think is really any safer but whatever. I slam the door and throw the bag down, and my boss asks me why I'm mad and I tell him. Then he has the nerve to tell me I shouldn't be mad. I'm like, f@#k you, I'll be made if I feel like it. I don't say this but I do say that's I am f@#king pissed because I just got the last accident settled and we haven't had the car back for a full 2 weeks yet! Oh, I was quite angry for the rest of the night let me tell you. Moral of the Story: people are f@#king stupid and I hope several red Silverados in the area spontaneously combust, killing all inside, and take 20 or so Civics with them.
  4. I would replied, "f@#k Off Jackass" and drove away. Some people are just morons.
  5. Pretty much what the others suggested, a tranny flush and thermostat may help a lot. Before we finally replaced the carb on the Caravan, it would run very rough and sometimes stall when it was cold because the choke would not work properly until warmed up. We had a push button cable that would force the choke to stay open while it was cold so it wouldn't stall. Eventually when we got a rebuilt carb it made a world of a difference. I dunno if you need a new carb, just my experience with carburetted engines. Couple of questions...first, where do work and when did you get the job? I keep missing this bit of information. Second, the part you need for the Millenia...what is it...the distributor? Have you tried shopping around junkyards to see if they have any on the cheap? I don't see many of them in the junkyard but I have come across one or two...maybe there's some parts sources at one of your local junkyards?
  6. Looks, great, I really like the color combo although the Black/red one would match it better to the red exterior. but... http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...ost&id=1327 Is that a panel misalignment I spy?
  7. The Shadow is like that too...not sure about the Intrepid but it's never run low on tranny fluid. You want illogical, try having the trunk release in the glove box like so many GMs.
  8. Where's the other commercial with the guy in the CTS? I liked that one too.
  9. Or anyone who happens to to have one in their garage...
  10. Very good review overall, no backhanded comments either.
  11. In its defense though, it does make 745 lbs of torque at 1500 rpm. It looks better on the outside than the current one, but it's basically a good engine attached to a junk truck.
  12. It's not an SUV it's a Crossover, it competes with the Lambdas more or less. It has a great interior and good powertrains...but it is past its prime. The Magnum doesn't make extra costs besides the front fascia. It's sold in other markets as the 300 Touring.
  13. See Cerberus? The Magnum is up this month...go kill the tanking compass or the Commander...that had a rough month. Charger sales remain pretty steady. 300 dipped a bit. They are being hurt by the Durango and Commander the most. Interesting how the Aspen is actually up. No that great of a month...lots of work to do.
  14. That thing looks pretty cool
  15. I thought I posted already but whatever. I like the interior. I think the exterior looks way to close to the current cr. It looks like it had ne front and rear fascias and that's it. I hate the bulging head and tail light lenses and the front lights droop down too low and make teh car look more frumpy and ugly than it needs to be.
  16. Found a pic!
  17. ...and raped my lawnmower!
  18. link?

    IS-F vs. RS4

I really like the normal IS...but this thing is just too tacky and ugly yo want to own, even with the sweet sounding V8. it still lacks steering feedback and a proper manual. until those issues are addressed and they make it look less ugly it'll never beat the Germans...or the V Series TS for that matter.
  20. Eww...interior looks like crap too.
  21. We should all be so lucky.
  22. Threat could work, make it a very low volume car so there's not high inventory, plus collector value goes up. Drop the base engine, maybe even the 3.5L. Slap a manual in it as an option and instant collector.
  23. The Pacifica has the best Chrysler interior. Even now it's better than a lot of what competitors are shoveling out. The design is a bit dated but the quality of what it's built with is top rate. he Magnum will be a niche seller because its a wagon. But since it sells slow and doesn't require extra tooling I see no need to axe it. there are people, myself included, that love the Magnum.
