No vehicle inspection in NJ other than gas engine emissions. Local Chevrolet dealer does police vehicle service from a number of towns. I would think it was more cost effective rather than each township mantaining a multi-brand garage/ employing & training mechanics. Most equipment mandates are at the federal level, tho of course the individual states enforce condition. I would think you would be highly supportive of all safety & other equipment being functional, Mr Felt. Me; I don’t care so much.

And emergency personnel need to keep vehicles operational. It’s not 1903. ? Repair shops and dealership service departments are open in NJ. Dealership sales are closed tho.

Genesis News: 2021 Genesis G80 Packs New Styling, Two Turbo Engines

^ Last time I bought a headlight assembly from the dealer, it was for an '03 Grand Prix- this might have been around 10-11 years ago. I remember it being $109. Whole entire corolla isn't worth $1100. Busted headlight? Junk the car. -
^ Bill, you seeing markedly less volume tho, or no?

:shrug: Just picked it up I guess. I worked with my brother for about 7 years, but we mostly did excavation. I just know how to build things structurally.

Point was- CT6 -while going away- was a beautifully proportioned sedan. No worries- no one is going to buy the genesis anyway. -
It’s fine- a truck with some cardboard boxes and other misc in the bed is not ‘not being cared for’. But more to the point, owner can’t drive and he can’t work on it or probably not even climb into it, so its at least covered & secured. Be happy ?

Recent access ramp I built for a customer. They didn't ask me to paint it, tho perhaps that's in the near future, as reportedly it's a permanent structure.

My friend / customer's '28 Chevy truck. Going to pull it out this year, clean it off, and see if there's any buyers out there. Only sheet metal is the fenders & hood- entire cab & bed are wood (last year). It's in nice solid shape, tho some of the paint has flaked off / surface rusted. He's had it I would guess 10 years, but doesn't drive anymore. It's been inside since he's owned it.

G80 is certainly no better than the CT6, which Cadillac DID build. -

Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM
balthazar replied to G. David Felt's topic in Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
My lithium battery tools don't show any noticeable power drain, but they've never sat for a month without working, and they don't have any power draining subsystems operating. Also, capacitors 'bleed down' over time, too. Checked the 6V AGM battery in my COE a few weeks ago- it hasn't been run since last summer. Was down from 6.1 V to 5.3V, and I keep the battery shut-off switch on 'off' whenever I'm not running it. Not bad, but obviously there is some drain in any battery system. -
ferrari = junk = OK.
