  1. I saw truck load of those on highway 401 today, it's good to see the Charger police package. . . . Hopefully we see the Impala next ^_^
  2. The 1981 Corvette was the first Corvette to be built simultaneously in two locations. The first Corvette rolled off the assembly line at the new Bowling Green, KY plant on June 1, 1981 and the last Corvette to be built at the St. Louis, MO plant rolled off the line August 1, 1981. The 1981 Corvette was also the last model to have a manual transmission available until late in the 1984 production year. Until it's last car, the St. Louis plant continued to use lacquer paints, while the new Bowling Green plant used a new paint process which used enamel base coats followed by clear top coats. http://www.idavette.net/facts/81.htm
  3. Ive seen a few at a transfer yard near by. . . . I will take some pics next time I drive past them. I must say this new SS looks sweet with these ground effects. . . the extra detail on the exhaust area makes it that much nicer.
  4. I seen a few today at a transfer lot here in Windsor. . . the red two tone w/grey looks really good!
  5. Is the CDI Liberty being sold in U.S? Overall this does sound like a good idea but diesel price higher (for now)could deter people from buying diesel, athough fuel mileage makes up for the added cost.

  7. Oh coarse not! that is a bunch of liberal B.S. . . talk is cheap! I really hope these jobs can be saved.
  8. If you want to save big money and not have to worry about trafic in downtown Detroit, stay the night in Windsor. Transit Windsor has a shuttle bus going to and from the show, there is 5 hotels within walking distance to the bus station. CTS- If your coming from B.C, Air Canada has flights from Vancouver. I returned about a week ago from training in Vancouver. . . You've got made living in B.C!
  9. Interesting. . . I build a film plastic injection mold for the new neons back in 2001. At first I thought it wouldnt catch on for mass production but it seems to be saving DCX so much it's a must these days.
  10. I still come here about 5-7 times a day but rearly ever post because this is my "get-a-way" from work. Back in the good ole days when I was still in school, ha, I was alot more active in posting/whroing.
  11. That was a great run, he had 7 San Fran players in front of him and flew out to the right for the TD. . . Da Bears! What a game to play during a wind storm, it was funny to the field goal curve.
  12. Sooo true! The good ole 80's. . . Goodtimes
  13. Ha. . Ive bored my friends out talking about this truck. I went with the White on Dark Pewter, I figured white because my Z24 was black and a pain in the ass to keep clean. My Jeep is Yellow and it really never seemed dirty considering I only washed it every 2 months  so white should be the same. My only option was the Family Package (sunroof and DVD player) but I only went with the sunroof because I have no kids and I can care less about my friends in the back B) I getting a Pioneer Nav/DVD player in the front anyways. My toughest option was the rims. . . I went with the 6 Spoke because they really make the truck look crisp. I find out tomorrow about the delivery date. . . the saleman told me it should be no longer then a month. . . I CANT WAIT THAT LOOONNNNGG :alcoholic:
  14. Ya forsure I'll post some pics. . . . I find out tomorrow when it's being built.
  15. Well, The days are numbered with the Jeep :( I recently started my own business that requires more the 4 cu. ft. of storage so I decided it was time to look for a truck. . . after two weeks of being at every GMC and Chevy dealership in 50Km radius, I decided to go with the GMC Sierra. Although I really like the new hoods on the '06 Silverado's. . .but the whole "We Are Professional Grade" advertising really worked for me. I really wish I could wait untill the 07 Sierra but since it's still some time away. . . I bought a 2006 GMC Sierra SLT w/ the vortex performance package. Now with 345Hp, My "HEMI" buddy will be running for the fences. :P Im so pumped to get it but I have to wait for it to be built so I will take about a month. These truck are soo smooth. . well anything is smoother compared to the JEEP. I will be kinda weird to have power windows and power doors :AH-HA_wink:
  16. I pay $150(CAD). . . no claims at all. I just called today for a quote on a 2006 GMC Sierra, it was $250/month. I really think it's all B.S!
  17. How close is an anouncement for production? Im about to trade in my Jeep for a 2006 Sierra MAX. . . that cylinder deactivation option sounds great, Im sure it can be done to a '06.
  18. LOL. . . Ya those were the daysss. . . .
  19. Im just glad my jeep is paid off in June '06. . . time to put that $588 a month into a mortgage  then it will be 20 years of payments
  20. Funny to see this topic came up. . . Ive been spending the last month renovating my girlfriends parents bathroom. When im done it will have gone from a 6X10 Bathroom to a 9X16 bathroom with a stand-up shower and a corner tub. I am a certified home inspector/energy advisor so I pretty much know everything from the foundation to the roof.
