well by saturn does it possibly mean opel? obviously the buick is the first to get epsilon 2... but i thought saturn was supposed to be renewed on epsilon 2 in a few years and since opel and saturn are somewhat sharing products, and epsilon is supposed to be global? -
the difference between todays cars and the cars prior, is i beleive their is a significant amount of structure above and below both windshields... rather modern cars, offer very minimal structure in that area, its just a thin firewall... they ought to start a design with a hardtop... create the cage... then create the frame and proportions, then the style...

shhh dont ruin their enthusiasm my mom will do the same thing, but she spends that extra effort on every purchase it is... wether its a brussel sprout to a full tank of fuel

yea military... hence the missles... but yea, we arent allowed to say common phrases like hodgie... even though its really not an offensive thing to say, if i understand it correctly its an extreme muslim who's gone through all the training to be a muslim -
honnestly if its not an open parking lot, i dont go up and down the rows... i actually pick a far away spot... after driving company cars 2 firebird, my dually, a couple corvettes... its not worth anything to get a near by parking spot... it agrivates me soo much to see people hogging up the lane cause they want a spot... you should have asked the lady for a ride... but seriously i dont go out shopping days like the day after thanksgiving or christmas when everything is overflowing with vehicles

so someone tell me the difference... hell i used to sell cars and i still dont know the difference between a b c pillers... really havent a clue, but i think each one is a little different and placement... i remember reading a thing about a 53 buick or some odd year and it didnt have a c piller (i think) but really if the article had said a or z i wouldnt have known the difference... as to what its like to be in a hardtop... best friend has a 70 chevelle SS454 LS6 2 68 camaro's a GTX (pretty sure its a hardtop) but i still couldnt tell you the performance diferance, the axiloration of any frame construction... the only vehicle i know that has added comfort due to frame construction is the Avalanche, that stupid diaganoal thing makes it the most comfortable ride out of all the GMT900's and 800's for its prospective model... obviously the avalanche isnt as good as the cadillac, but the ESV is better... so someone give me the abc's and 123's why is this such a bad thing... obviously it wont look the same as the concept... which might upset a lot of people... obviously that window probably wont be roll up due to structure concerns, and possible leaking issues... is this hardtop more aerodynamic... sounds like its going to have a higher center of gravity, if it needs aditional strength on the roof, which only means slower turning, even if its microscopic, these things are analyzed by both sellers and buyers of vehicles... also if you can shed 100 lbs, as sugested... that could be mean a 0-60 maker or breaker against the competition, stoping speeds, turning speeds, slalum, road courses (ie. nuremberg), 1/4 mile times... perhaps structureal concerns when dealing with racing the car at tracks... if a car has that extra weight and its unremoveable, its less likely to become a car for the LT1's and LS1 guys to jump on for the ultimate 1/4 mile car

this is untrue... the states were not united until 1989, when gw had his first presidency... obviously you are correct they werent colonies any more because the british lost control of them... at first they were called the united colonies, and "Congress of the United Colonies" was a name used from 1974-1981 I dont know when the term States actually took over, but it wasnt July 5th... -

I remember at my dealership lots of people had books and were trying to memorize them Apparently this ones harder, cause i got a couple wrong... i dont even remember reading the how many years do the represenatives get... lol apparently i put 2... but i know thats not true and the other, i said the supreme court had 12 cause i remember it being bigger then 9... thought it was more like 11 or 13 thou... the constitution was ratified by all 13 colonies 13 years after independance... originally they wanted to elect GW as king of the united states... and he refused because thats what we just fought away... but it was written some 11 years later... took a while to get all the states to agree to it -

regaurdless.. it is still no joke that it disrupted sales because of a poorly chosen name... it sold well in the states but south america and central america was really not the car for them... I mean honnestly, there are plenty of bad names out there... I remember when the focus came out, everyone made fun of the name, because no one wanted to "focus" on its apperance. I forgot what we said about the echo, but that was a bad name too Or why would you buy a Foriegn Jeep... when you could buy a regular Jeep...??? -
yea, i'm thinking about cadillacs... other people are thinking about some sort of manwhore...

of course not, they will of course look to their roots and call it one of four names(alphanumeric order): Chevette, Metro, Nova, or of course the Vega Nova actually might be a decent name of a cobalt sized alpha (rwd) since a nova was smaller then the malibu -

Ford, Chrysler set to post big sales decline Honda the only automaker expected to report year-over-year improvement By Shawn Langlois, MarketWatch Last Update: 2:01 PM ET Sep 28, 2007 SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Ford Motor Co. and Chrysler are expected to post double-digit declines in September U.S. sales next week, but the overall industry is starting to stabilize after the sluggish economic climate made for a brutal summer in the showrooms. August marked the beginnings of a recovery, when a surprising 6.1% jump in General Motors Corp. sales pushed the overall rate well above Wall Street targets. But analysts blame lofty gasoline prices and the persistent housing crunch for what's shaping up to be yet another decline. The two-day nationwide strike at GM likely didn't have much of an impact on the results, as the Detroit giant had plenty of inventory to move. Lehman Bros. analyst Brian Johnson is looking for a seasonally adjusted annual sales rate of 16.1 million, down from 16.6 million a year earlier and off slightly from last month. That would still be a marked improvement from the mid-15 million range in June and July, the worst back-to-back months since a much-longer GM strike in 1998 crippled sales. Johnson said that while some promotional spending offset the industry's headwinds in September, lower interest rates will probably turn out to be the sales driver in the future. "September was probably still too early to have seen the benefit from the Fed's easing on auto sales," he said in a note to clients. "However, there has historically been a positive correlation between rate cuts and lagged auto sales." July also marked the first time foreign brands, led by Toyota Motor Corp. outsold domestic nameplates in the U.S. market. GM, Ford and Chrysler combined for 48.1% market share, according to Autodata, the lowest level ever. But not even the Japanese juggernaut is immune to the daunting economic challenges. Jesse Toprak, an analyst for car-buying research Web site Edmunds.com, said he expects Toyota to hand in a 4.2% drop, its third straight month of year-over-year declines. "Toyota has been doing so incredibly well it just keeps getting tougher to improve on their prior year numbers," he said. "It's really not a big surprise or shocking downturn; it's more about the market weakness itself." Ford's expected 17.7% hit, however, is indicative of more than just broader industry troubles. Some of the decline can be attributed to planned fleet and rental sales cutbacks, Toprak said, but much of the blame should also be placed on the product lineup. "New cars and trucks from other automakers, like GM's line of big trucks and SUVs, are drawing buyers away from Ford," he added. Still, GM's spruced-up menu of new cars and trucks won't keep the company from posting a 3.1% dip, said Toprak, who also forecast the now-private Chrysler to hand in a 10.3% slide. Honda Motor Co. is the only automaker pegged to post gains, up 11.8%. Overall, Edmunds.com estimated a 4.5% decline in car sales. There was one less selling day in September 2007 than a year earlier. Adjusting for that, sales are expected to be mostly flat when compared to September of last year

i forgot what GM said... but basically the 3.9 doesnt need a balace plate for their v6... it is naturally balanced but GM vrs the competition doesnt just shut down a bank... bmw and that honda system apprently uses one bank rather then every other cyl GM's system switches its cylders around to keep it even and keep the wear, and balance good.. if you just use the left or right bank... you will suffer balance problems
