  1. I hope this won't turn out like last time GM slammed CR, ending up apologizing to CR.
  2. I suppose this is what they are talking about. The rear end does look strikingly similar. But I think when the Aura comes out it the real thing should clear this up a bit. I don't think in real life they look that similar. GM's photographers aren't the best in class you know...

  4. IIRC the rocket on our old Cutlass Ciera steering wheel is red.
  5. Platform sharing can work just as well, if done correctly.Look at Honda and Acura. Look at Citroen and Peugeot. Look at Fiat and Alfa Romeo. The list goes on...

Isn't that one only a concept? Or do you mean PT Cruiser GT?
  7. Glad you're OK, that's what's important. No worries, Mazdas are tough cars. That shouldn't too bad to fix. Reminds me of our 626 when we got sandwiched. A van rear-ended into us and pushed us into the car in front. But if there is a C&G curse for accidents lately, thank goodness I don't need to drive recently...
  8. There are globalization plans to consolidate the Corsa and Daewoo small cars development, IIRC.
  9. I wanted to see Cars, ever since it was put on hold. Well... I just like cars, that's why
  10. Your Java VM not working?
  11. They'll probably replace it with a straight body-coloured piece like the new Yukon. But still... it looks a bit too close to the Outlook.

Implications on next Cobalt SS? Cobalt SS Turbo instead of Cobalt SS SC?
  13. Didn't you know that Honda is equivalent to Buick in UK?
  14. polarized I wonder to what point will this thread crash the server for being too big?? :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Maybe it's the weatherstrip. Back in the days with my Cavalier, I had 3 replaced for the driver's door. Luckily all under warranty. Do you keep your car in a garage? Mine's out in the open, probably that explains it.
  16. Sound deadening materials maybe? Makes sense for maunfacturers to cut it down on performance trims.
  17. They dumbed down the cars too much. Mitsubishis here are nothing compared to the ones overseas.
  18. Maybe it's just the blurry lighting, but the rear looks strikingly like the current Impala...

I have a feeling that headlight unit is the exact same one as the Aura's I added some lines to speculate what the shape might look like:

An FJ Cruiser... right after eating breakfast A riced out Pontiac Montana, complete with HIDs, body kit, spoiler, and cheesy painted stock body parts.
  21. I don't quite agree with this one. Don't forget after all from a price point Pontiac is still slotted between Chevy and Buick Making all mechanical options standard adds quite a bit to the tag. What they did with the Solstice right now is nice. They have a Club Sport package, which strips out the toys but adds every single performance option.
  22. Unfortunately I can't afford one nor the insurance... Firehawks...
  23. They did have a split grille to a certain extent...http://www.gmphotostore.com/prodinfo.asp?number=53217680 Just not the twin kidney I suppose. But yeah, whatever it takes, Pontiac should keep this.
  24. Agreed for side profile, not so much for the rear though. The rear is as bland as a Toyota Carina.
