One important fact is that crude oil from which gasoline is refined from is a fossil fuel. It's non renewable. Ethanol is made from sugar cane and other crops. Literally these things grow like crazy, and is a non issue of renewing it. It's not just the cost, it's because we're running out of oil. As development goes on, the cost of making ethanol will go down.

GM has a bad habit of thinking the base model can have a spoiler optional, the next trim needs it standard. Alero and Intrigue were like that. I hated the way I was forced to take the spoiler on my G6, and I've heard a lot of GTP owners say they don't like it either. I hope it isn't the case here.

Unfortunately the ECOTEC is still 169hp, and no stick. Minus the 3.6L V6, the other changes are... well... unexplainable.

I guess you haven't driven one. The EPS is a piece from heaven when you're going around tight spots in a large car. I do agree it isn't appropriate on a sport trim, but not really "nasty", just inappropriate.

1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera SL. Fully loaded, black. That's our first car when my family first landed in Canada. Such a comfortable car. Oh, and last year that it came with full square taillamps, true to classic Olds design. The three bars on the new one looks awkwardly out of place, especially even the redesigned Cutlass Supreme got square lamps.

Um... clearing out LX9 inventories? EDIT: didn't see that it got changed to LZ4. But then why is it 201hp like the LX9?
