NINETY EIGHT REGENCY

Not getting into the debate here, but when you think long term or used: 1. Cadillacs are expensive to fix period. 2. That Northstar engine is expensive to fix and not as reliable either. I know. You have to get past the horsepower thing. 3. The Aurora V8 and Shortstar V6 are from the Northstar family of engines. The only place they got used was Oldsmobiles. When Intrigue and Aurora died, the Shortstar died too. Why? It was not severing GM in any other applications. 4. Aurora owners that go to Cadillac dealerships get treated like dirt by Cadillac dealers because they are the only ones that can repair the engine. They know it. I have seen cases where they will not fix it either. 5. The last time Cadillac had a reliable engine was the 4.9 Liter V8. 6. That Northstar engine is high maintenance too. I do not trust that engine. Cars are like buying small houses and making an investment. You cannot just drop and engine in a car. I know as I finding this out with my Toronado. I wanted to put the 3800 Series II in my car, but because of the pcm, bcm, ecm and a few other items, I cannot. I have to go with the the factory 3800 Series I. Buick cannot just drop the 3.6 liter V6 in that car. It is a matter of economics when switching engines in a model life cycle. I like the 3800 as it has been reliable, efficient, and nicely powered. Yes, it is getting old. Wished GM would have redesigned it.

He called the police on me on Thanksgiving Day. He was mentally and emotionally unstable. He slept with everyone but me. I never slept with him thankfully. His life turned around when I was with him. Too many people place expectations on others. That is not good. They also expect others to be something they are not. No one owes you anything. There is no perfect person, no perfect relationship. There is a happy medium and happiness.

1995. The interior was redesigned for 1994. The Eighty Eight and Ninety Eight shared parts with the Aurora when the Aurora came out in 1994 as a 1995 model. The Ninety Eight was the only one to offer digital gauges.

I remember the diesel full sized GM cars. It was an Oldsmobile diesel V8 rated at 105 hp. It was 5.7 liters. It was a 350 V8. The funny thing is Pontiac used to put "5.7 Liter Diesel" V8 on the trunks of its cars. Oldsmobile had "Oldsmobile Diesel", Buick just put "diesel" on the front fenders. Cadillac put it on a plaque on the trunk. That first diesel would have worked, but it was something GM did wrong that caused it to fail. It is funny how this whole GM diesel thing is coming full circle again. They used a 4.3 liter diesel V6 in the A Bodies. The fwd C Bodies( 1985) used the 4.3 liter diesel V6 too. Then the diesel quietly went away after 1985. It is coming back on Cadillac and Saturn. GM is being cautious because they got burned last time.

That is the deal.. My things is.. I have learned and know "too well" how to live alone and be alone. I do not get lonely like most because I threw myself into my job, but I had to stop that recently. Anything is possible...

His best hope will be meeting people online. The sad thing in the community is they "think" 25 is old and once you are past 25, it gets harder and you grow tired of the foolishness. They put expectations on others they do not meet themselves. They safly cannot get past the physical. I tell people you not only have to sleep with him, but be able to hold a conversation with him.

Very superficial environment. I recently had to tell one of my students he was not ready for that. He has some weight he needs to lose, and work on his personality. He could put people off that easy.

I remember meeting people before the internet. They had telephone services and chat boards and local gay publications or magazines. For people like Blackviper, the internet connects him with the world. I know that has been one good thing about the internet. People like him would be isolated and alone. I do not mind answering your question. I am black. I do not use the term African American because I do not get caught up with being politically correct. That Ninety eight was one of the reasons I got mine. The critics used to complain about too many buttons, and that is why mine has fewer buttons on the interior. Those Ninety Eights like mine were very high tech for the era they were in. There are cars today that still do not have many of these features. I have always been a fan of the interiors and the looks of the Ninety Eights.... Just as a comparison here is my interior:

Welcome Sir! They offered manuals in Grand Prix and Cutlass Supremes in 1988-1990, but they were not popular.

I totally understand. They always say at the funerals lets get together before someone else dies... they never do. I cannot do funerals. I cannot look at dead bodies. by in the 1980's my uncles funeral traumatized me. I was forced to go to my grandfather's funeral a few years ago. Sadly, but true it was reading a comic book that gave me the ability to be able to go. Wonder Woman's mother( Queen Hippolyta) died in the comics the same time my grand father died. I went. I got past it. My grandmother is still with us, and she is not in good health either. I totally understand.. I have to deal with the deaths of some of my students the last few years. I did not attend the funerals. When you see someone younger than you die, it just shows you how valuable life is and how much people take for granted.

I remember when my name was mentioned in a thread similar to this before. I had left and I came here one day, and saw my name in something similar to this. I did not return until longer after that. There is a hope that some of these people may return. You never know who is watching. I am sure people from GM are coming here reading and laughing or thinking how did they know that?

Camino is right. I write a weekly journal email I send to all my friends. I talk about so much. It helps, but when you walk around with that stuff inside you, it causes other issues. You are dealing with your pain Delta Force.
