  1. Outlander Sport Revs Up Mitsubishi Motors Sales In November Wed, Dec 01, 2010 With the addition of the first full month of sales of the exciting new Outlander Sport compact CUV, Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) today announced November sales were 4,306, an increase of more than 47 percent compared to November 2009. This represents Mitsubishi's largest year-over-year percentage increase for a single month in more than ten years (June 2000). "The excitement of our sales team and dealer partners for the new Outlander Sport was contagious, because customers responded in a big way," said MMNA President & CEO Shin Kurihara. "And the showroom traffic translated into increases for Outlander and some of our other vehicles, as well." In November, MMNA launched its ground-breaking marketing program for the Outlander Sport by holding the World's First Online Test Drive of a vehicle, through which 52,000 consumers participated in the Guinness Book of World Records-breaking "Live Drive" event by registering at outlandersport.com. November sales highlights include: Outlander sales were up 64 percent and are up more than 23 percent for the year to date. Endeavor sales nearly quadrupled compared to last year (up 329 percent) and are up more than 34 percent for the year. Galant sales were up almost 4 percent compared to last November, and are up 6.6 percent year-to-date. Lancer Evolution sales were up more than 46 percent for the month. Mitsubishi sales have increased 2.4 percent year-to-date. Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) is responsible for all manufacturing, finance, sales, and marketing operations for Mitsubishi Motors in the United States. MMNA sells coupes, convertibles, sedans, sport utility vehicles, and light trucks through a network of more than 400 dealers. Get one. You are a far better photographer than I am.
  4. More than careful just apathetic to the system. The only time I got body scanned and patted was in Paris, Amsterdam, and Mumbai - not in US.
  5. I am not accepting it as a norm. Yes it is bad, and yes there are better ways to solve the problem. I wonder how much contribution does DHS, TSA, et. al add to our growing deficit. The most important thing needed is change of ideology, and acceptance that nothing is perfect and safe, then only we will win the war against terrorism. At this point I like others who do not like the concept, have no other modes of transportation to go to see my girl, or travel out of country, so acceptance is only the route. I would like to revolt, but I do not have guts to be a martyr.
  6. All the airports I have been through this year have.
  7. I am against existence of TSA, but people are making too much of an issue. As someone who has flown more than 30 times this year, going through security has become a norm yet not even once I was passed through the X-Ray or was patted down. May be may be my frequent flier status gives me the privilege or I am ugly.

Thanks Loki. Here are some samples. The pictures are nothing short of amazing.
  9. Went through the holiday traveling last week - with the security level same as my previous travels this year. While idea of TSA is bad, people are really creating mountain out of the mole hill about X-ray scanners and groping.
  10. Who needs SUVs. Good choice. How many miles does the puppy have?
  11. LOL. It is maneuverable once you get used to it. I have often parallel parked my company's 4x4 2500. Is it a docile beast on the highway?

    A cheap SUV?

If you are keeping the truck along with the other two cars, what kinda insurance premium bump will you be looking at?

But it is not as good as Hyundai Sonata Turbo, as it cannot seat 5 people and get 33 mpg.

A little early Christmas present from my significant other. The picture quality is phenomenal. Time to start investing in new L-series lenses. Olds, I can be a real photographer this time around.
  17. Is the hole near the edge of the driveway or center?
  18. Mickey, I agree with your assessment. The old TSX seems to be better built than the new one. When my wife was up for an oil change for her 2005 TSX, they loaned her the new one, she had some reservations.
  19. Those are wheel drive modes, apparently GM made the RLD automatic, so it just detects the slickness. I think, while the surface may have looked similar visually, the differential detected slip on one side and that is why the hole. Here is a cool video explaining how the A-RLD works.
  20. Is the dial set on automatic? Were you giving it a lot of gas? Was your other tire on a firmer surface?
  21. RLD - Ability to lock the wheels on the same axle together as if they have a common shaft. Basically to help the traction while driving on surfaces offering very poor traction. I wished I could test drive the beast. What mileage are you getting?
  22. Nice. Happy driving.
  23. Happy Thanksgiving.
  24. Honda did add enthusiastic factor for this little thing. The old TSX and Integra were in the same bunch. Considering they are FWD, the limits of the cars are very high. I did reach the limit of the TSX in WV, when I was gunning it on US HY 33 curves. The TC kicked in and the car got bristled up - but still was under control. Too bad the mojo seems to be lost now.
