  1. Judging by the fat GM is feeding to its cars, under 3,300 lbs ATS may be a pipe dream.
  2. . Dear Lord. Still does not explain Raid 6 and 10.
  3. Good one. Where did you buy it at?

  5. Yes Northstar - look out for the head gasket issues. What year is it?
  6. True, but if he is looking for diesel that price jumps to close to $41k.

    So lone Misery

    It's all relative.
  11. Tired of diesel?
  12. HB Roger. Get yourself a nice 1950's GMC.
  13. Not good.
  14. The article is saying that the platform is modular enough to expand to accommodate bigger engines and develop larger vehicles. I am glad GM is doing bottom-up modular platform rather than top down ala the 5er - 7er way. That was called for, seriously.
  15. Nice.
  16. One thing that perplexes me is the timing. Why so long Sally?
  17. Depends on the dpi of the scan. If the scan dpi was not high, the picture may end up being grainy.
  18. Can a turbine "breathe" easily beneath a bonnet? How are you going to control the air at lower speeds?
  19. Chevrolet SS Sedan Concept Holden Torana Concept
  20. I'll pick the Nomad, G6, and Denali XT: Nomad would have been a trend setter considering it had utility, sports, and uniqueness. It would have allowed GM to diversify kappa and given it more legs to make profit. Furthermore, with Chevy's dealership reach it would have had a good market capitalization, if priced right. And the plus - no competitors. The G6 design might have actually saved Pontiac. The design would have showed what GM designers and engineers were capable of doing rather than the beancounters having their final say. While it is difficult to predict whether it would have ended up being less of a rental fleet, the design would have certainly prevented GM to dump them in fleets and actually sell them at decent profit in retail market. Denali XT - again a trend setter, innovative and downright gorgeous truck. Its base on Zeta was main reason it should have been given green light. Again GM could have spread Zeta's costs. While it would not have broke the sales charts, its uniqueness and unibody would have certainly given an option for people who did not need BOF capabilities while providing a decent bump in fuel economy.
  21. 2007. I think bankruptcy plans killed its introduction by this year. I have to go back and see when was the exact time.
  22. And with G8. The FE3 suspension is one of the best to come from GM. With ATS, we may see it being revised and improved.
  23. No need to worry about that. Cadillac answered that question long time ago. Reviewers are finding the CTS handling better than similar BMWs.
