Mitsubishi could withdraw from U.S.
GM's halo headrests have some semblance of normality. Those in the new Outlander look like something Dr. Mengele would've used.

Isnt It Weird How "Fate" Has A Way Of Happening?
There's that ego again. At least I think it is. I can't really understand that sentence. "In a topic I posted it?"

Pontiac: Nothing but rwd cars?
Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight - fullsize, bench seats, column shift, chrome (with 1997+ Regency trim) - 1992-1999. Oldsmobile Cutlass - midsize, 4/6cyl, Cutlass Ciera successor - 1997-1999. They kept those transition cars, Sixty, and no one bought them.

"GM takes flack..."
If he's a person true to his beliefs, then they should drive a pair of Insights as the aforementioned are hardly the most efficient and green of the hybrids.

The Armada/QX56 are not just grotesque but absolute pigs. I've heard of people averaging 9-11mpg with them.

Something looks out of place
Yes. Toyota ergonomics are hardly respectable. Take my rental Corolla (please!)...you have to lean a little bit to reach the tuning knob. In and of itself, not a big deal, but when you realize every other company has somehow mastered it...

Salvage Title?
Click on the CarFax record check. Then copy/paste the listed VIN. It doesn't show anything. That's a great start. "PREVIOUS STORM HAS NOT BEEN STARTED...SALVAGE TITLE." By all accounts, its sounds like you don't need a car as much as you simply want a car. Fine. Save up your money and wait for a real decent deal to show up. I don't get why anyone would want to buy a wrecked/flooded car. You're taking a risk by buying any used car no matter what it is or who owned it. Why increase your risk if you don't need to and you know what the problems are beforehand? Don't buy worthless crap like that.

Pontiac: Nothing but rwd cars?
This proves you have no clue. The bubble Taurus debuted after the Aurora. Nice job. The Cieras had classic styling cues? Jesus. The Custom Cruiser was such a success it was pitched in its second model year? The late Toronados bore no resemblance to any of the classic Oldsmobiles beyond hidden headlamps. They had smooth, uninterrupted lines, restrained chroming, and sophisticated technology. Oldsmobile was always about three things - performance, sophistication, and technology. How was the Eighty-Eight performance? How was the Custom Cruiser sophistication? How was the Cutlass Ciera technological? Answer - they weren't in any way. I don't quite understand what a 'real' Oldsmobile is to you, but if you somehow think that clunky old rebadges like those were somehow more true to the Olds spirit than vehicles that rode new platforms with new innovations and exclusive powertrains, I don't know what to tell you. But however you rationalize, tell it to General Motors because the Cutlass, Eighty-/Ninety-Eight, and Cruiser went away, those customers simply bought Buicks. When GM dumped the new Oldsmobiles and Olds as a whole, those Aurora, Intrigue, and Alero customers went away. For good.

Did someone put a contract or curse on C&G?
Technically, its five; Four in the Olds and one in the Bonnie. Add it up any way you'd like, I'm still the champion, bitches!

Pontiac: Nothing but rwd cars?
The new Oldsmobiles were of a higher quality than ever before. Do the research. And the lineup was very American. Where do you get this crap?

Hall of badge engineering
Tribute and Escape are defintiely rebadges. There are some errors, though, like the Isuzu i-Series is a rebadge of the Colorado, not the Silverado, as well as glaring omissions, like the Honda Passport/Isuzu Rodeo, Acura SLX/Isuzu Trooper, Toyota Land Cruiser/LX470, Crown Vic/Grand Marquis, Cobalt/Pursuit, and many others. Sadly, another 'international' Wikipedia car article. Also, I wouldn't consider the Fusion/Milan/Zephyr to be direct rebadges, but not fully independant either. I would define the 'rebadge spectrum' as such...

GM and Discovery Channel
Actually, a show about the 2009 Camaro wouldn't be interesting as we pretty much know what the car looks like. I'd like to see them 'debut' the car on the season finale.

Mitsubishi could withdraw from U.S.
We'll all have our own fond memories of Mitsubishi. My favorite models were their 61" plasma TV and the A6M Zero fighter. Don't they also make cars of some sort??????

Cadillac Renaissance: Miracle or Mirage?
18-22mpg in mixed city/hwy driving with heavy a/c use with a 4.0l Northstar-derived V8. Confirmed by actual fillups via a year and a half of ownership, not weekend specials.
