  1. I only take the poster into account when it's needed. Whenever you stop with the unrelenting bias and hypocrisy, I'll stop noticing. I only call it like I see it. I'm not the only one.Going back to the MKS, which was the main point of interest in my post, not you... It doesn't matter what you say. This is supposed to be Lincoln's flagship. No matter how you spin it, it's a pathetic excuse for a flagship. No one here is saying the RL is any better. You can bash it all you want, but at the end of the day, how can you sit here and defend the MKS? It's nonsense. I'm sure it'll make many people happy and will please a number of Lincoln/Mercury faithfuls. However, as has been the main point in this thread... It's not special. It's not flagship material regardless of not being a BMW fighter. I'd argue that the old Lincoln LS was much more of a flagship than this thing will ever become. It had style, luxury, and a deserving platform. Again, spin it however you want, but as I said... The MKS is simply a mildly luxurious sedan built on an also ran platform devoid of much style beyond a grill that isn't even Lincoln's. If you can legitimately tell me it's a deserving flagship or an exceptional vehicle, I'm afraid my comments are just.
  2. So funny for someone like you to talk about backlash when you don't have an unbiased bone in your body. C&G needs a Reg filter, that rids of all the idiocies and only shows the few things worth reading of yours. As others have mentioned, Lincoln needs a real flagship, not some mildly luxurious sedan built on an also ran platform devoid of much style beyond a grill that isn't even Lincoln's. I put this on the same level as the Lucerne, which, isn't a compliment. Neither are terrible vehicles, but... They don't deserve much praise. Perhaps a blurred compliment here or there. For Lincoln's sake, I hope it sells. I'm sure they'll be some old Continental owners ready to buy... if they haven't died.
  3. Well.. It's not the ugliest thing to ever exist, but its far from beautiful. As well, I'm almost suprised that they didn't change the interior. I mean... it sucks in the Tundra, I don't think it's going to suck any less in this.
  4. I love this car, I really do.
  5. Especially considering it's not and is a superb vehicle. As well, the CX9 didn't make the cut last year, just like the Tundra didn't... That doesn't mean they don't get to compete. Good to see the Malibu on it, either way.
  6. It's not bad, but certainly not flagship worthy. Nothing about it shines, it's just decent all over. Again, though, not bad by any means.

    Pictures!

You know me... I can't go a month without taking pictures of myself.

  9. Happy birthday, Sirs, but if I'm going to be replacing NOS as the official cake jumper-outer... I need paid. Fork it over.
  10. I'll take one in that orange.
  11. I have a Cutlass I can sell you.
  12. Tell me about it. I can barely do anything without getting one for 10 minutes at a time.
  13. Completely irrelevant, but, I want to put the doors of an Escalade onto random GMT-900s.
  14. That's what the Cutlass is. I plug it in at night like an electric car, it billows black smoke like a diesel, and runs on regular gasoline. I win.
  15. To be honest, the more I see of it, the less I like it. It's still world's better than the old one, and the Camry for that matter, but there are too many awkward areas on the design.
  16. It runs once started... but it slowly loses power. The lights become dimmer, the turn signals stop working, and the radio eventually shuts itself off. It never stalls, though.
  17. The interior... I don't have that bad of taste.
  18. I think some of you guys are forgetting that this car dates back to 2001. I thought it looked rather nice then. Nowadays, yes, it's nothing special. It also helps if you have a better picture of a better color scheme.
  19. I thought the trunk looked plain. It looks so sexy, though. If only it weren't lugged into the same advertisement as the disgrace that is the G6 GXP.
  20. Pass. After that testdrive... sounds like a dud. Then again, what do I know?
  21. Hmm... Replaced the alternator but didn't fix the problem. The battery isn't receiving a charge... If it's not the alternator, I don't see what it could be. The battery itself is only a month old and the wires weren't shorted or disconnected. Anyways, I replaced the spark plugs. Didn't make any difference. But, I must say, I thought these older cars were supposed to be easier to work on? A simple task like changing plugs is such a, well, pain in the ass. It's so much easier to do with my Millenia. Did they plan on people ever changing their own plugs? There was a mere two inches of clearance for one of them. That's after you remove half a dozen hoses to even get to that point. Such nonsense. On another note, I tried to tinker with the carburetor, but as I previously stated, I'm not a gear head. I see a bunch of screws, a bunch of mechanisms that didn't seem to do anything, and the throttle. What am I looking for?
  22. I'll submit a picture of the Cutlass, but I'm not picking the picture. Feel free to suggest... That is... if you want an 84 Cutlass with a tattered vinyl top to be in it in the first place.
  23. If you can look past the screaming, the instrumentals, arrangements, and song writing in "Waking the Fallen" are without many faults. It's very dark and definitely heavier. It's a little one-sided, though. There's not much range in sound besides "I Won't See You Tonight, Part 1" which is without screaming and ties in piano throughout the entire song. If you check out any song other than the one mentioned, check out "Chapter Four", "Clairvoyant Disease" as well as "And All Things Will End". They have the least amount of screaming and the first one is just an awesome song.
  24. Ouch. I had to do a few double takes and date checks upon reading that.
  25. The alternator just failed. Everything seems to happen all at once, within days of each other. I can't even take care of one thing before another problem shows up. Say what you will, but this car is starting to piss me off.
