OK so the PT which is Years old ( not sure ) is just about even in Sales with the much newer HHR in retail sales. I woul;d think DCX got there design money back many a moon ago. Has Chevy?? The HHR is a PT lookalike in a way or at least size and idea. I like them.

I too like this better the the Camaro. The new camaro in convertible form is nice but the car wants to be a 69 and a 07 and missus both. The Dodge delivers there (more 70-07 ). That said I think it is exciting that all the US companies will be back in the game...Mustang/ Camaro/ Challenger.

Dodge fan.I did read the entire thing. I'll say it again. Plymouth is DEAD. The name signifies NOTHING to the younger folks. I'm OLD and remember many fine Plymouth products but the time had come to finish off either Dodge or Plymouth. They made the right choice I think

Tony, What happens if they hate the car??? I guess that does not make it to the TV commercial?? After reading the late test JD Powell reports I think they should first get a better initial Build Quality. Then promote the heck out of it. I wonder if Ford will do that.

I don't think it's a stupid statement. I think that Chevrolet will be a day late and a dollar short on the new Camaro. If they get them out the door sooner then later maybe they got a shot. Gas is around $3.30 a gallon where I live. In 09 who knows. The only real reason I would take the Challenger is in the looks dept which I know is a personal thing. Sixtyeightpanther,I have owned two camaros and at least 4 other GM products that would be considered ' muscle ". I would like nothing more too see all 3 USA companies do well here and have Yoda.Honda etc fail. But the real world dictates that this will not happen. Ford will have sold at least 3-4 hundred thousand Mustangs by 09 ( new style ) They win again just as they did in 64. First out of the gate. In a nut shell I think economic reasons will likely hurt the Camaro. I said fail. That means they will not reach there goals ( i think they said 100,000 ) which is about Mustang sales. I think this helps Ford a lot but really does not hurt GM too much. People will still be buying there Honda's and Toyota's,but may actually stop by and look at a Milan or Edge . Congrats to Ford for a "lets keep trying " attitude. There is some coffee brewing over at Ford and we will wait and see if GM smells it

Anybody actually drive one of these. I saw two, one right behind each other at a traffic light. One Silver,One Black. Better in person then I've seen pictures of. It was a warm day and a guy about 30 was driving the Black one. I yelled " How do you like it " All he did was give me a Thumbs up and screeched off.....Looked kinda cool I have to admit
