I would not say vehicles like the Nitro or Viper or even the new Challenger fall in the " Cookie Cutter " category. Malibu or Cobalt maybe

I wonder if and when this car will Really arrive. Chevy follows Ford again. How many thousands of Mustangs have already been sold that could have been Camaro's? By the time they get this to market there will be $4.00 ( or more gas ) Quality better be top notch or GM will take one up the you know what. On paper things look attractive ( engines etc ) but you would have thought Chevy could have got their $h! together sooner

I heard yesterday that the 08 Cobalt SS Supercharged car will no longer be offered. I hope not...Anybody??

Styling is a personal choice. I do not like the looks on the front at all. It's just too busy. That grill has got to go. Looks better in a dark color however

avant.Not sure where you will find his speech but I saw it. It was live on maybe C span or some other network. I was stunned. I give the guy credit for trying to accomplish something that will be very hard to do. I do not think outside the USA people will give him much notice.

While you are on your soapbox hook up your solar TV and take a peak at this part of his speech. This was not about politics so much as his mis information in regards to US automakers. He stated that people do not but US cars and trucks because they are all Gas Guzzlers ". Does not matter which side of the aisle you are from but when I think of a G6 or cobalt I do not think gas guzzler thats all.....

Anybody see old Al tear into the USA Car makers yesterday. Said the reason that they are in trouble is because nobody wants to buy Gas Guzzlers anymore. The GTO is a great car. The option missing was a completely new body. Talk about drab. If what counts is on the insde the GTO is a home run. A sunroof would not help this car

It really does not matter much about the TA. After the new Camaro fails they will never consider a T/A. I'll take the Challenger

Hey do not get that " everything is beautiful " feeling just yet. Front page of the business section in local paper. " Japanese take all top spots on quality " It was talking about the Consumer Reports top ten. Before you all tell me F them, the average Joe still gets the Japanese is better jammed down there throat all the time. The only American cars really mentioned were the Vette and the Fusion/Milan. Gonna take a lot of convincing still to the masses....

After seeing the two side by side I'd take the viper in a minute. Aggressive with a sleekness the " sexy " vette as you say does not have. Sexy cars are not what I would look for spending this amount of money.

Yup Gm is gonna buy DCX and Ford and call it American Motors !!! Allright a New AMX !!

I like it. It has an aggressive look and not the Appliance look of say a Camry or a 500. I'll take an R/T @ 23,500!!

This just confims in my view why Chev. should have ditched the Malibu name and called this new car something else. Malibu=Old. Be prepared to rent one soon while at Disney!

My local Newspaper just reviewed the Sebring and much to my surprise gave it quite the thumbs up. Really the only neg thing was the " edgy styling ".

Not Bad...BUT the way it was hyped I thought, man this is gonna be the GM saver. I like the Fusion better. The shot of the Malibu interior was great however.

Talk about dated. That car is never seen on the roads around here in NY. I cannot rememeber the last time I saw one of those Fugly things. Good for Chevy!! Now design a new one without using anything from the old one
