  1. I won't tell my son that next time he drives over here in his Sky RL. He'll be so thrilled to know another man kissed his new car.
  2. Green
  3. GMTG, when I was partnered we chose our own cars. I offered input because I am the car guy, but in the end it was his decision. Looking back, I wish I would have stayed out of it more. It worked for us because I didnt drive his DTS too much and I wouldnt let him drive the Corvettes, and very rarely the Av or trucks I had previous. I realize that my situation is different than yours, being married and all, but the idea of his and hers (or his and his, or hers and hers) is, in my opinion, the best way to go.
  4. Its not a city, but I hate it when people say "Illinoise" instead of "Illinoy". Gets on my nerves. I've heard Norfolk prononced Nawflk. Southern cities that end in "ville" are said "Nashvlle" Louisville is "Looivlle" Locals from Albany, Georgia call the town "Albaney" instead of Albany (like NY).
  5. Thems fightin words!
  6. I think it started when the country became so sensitive to everyone else's ideals and created their own agenda. I also think that the latest Republican poisoning did not help. I am not a political guy and George W. Shrub is the first political person I have out and out hated. I place Stalin ahead of Mr. Shrub. But thats just me. There's a book by Maxine Greene called the Dialectic of Freedom. It's a great book that makes you question everything in your life and states that everyone in a community (no matter how big or small) needs to work together towards freedom. It's a good book if you're a deep thinker. I read it for a college class and it really struck me. Check it out. It's kinda cool how you can make it pertain to your own life.
  7. Sounds like a good idea to me too. They had Cadillac ranches, why not El Camino ranches?

  9. Next for me is a G8 GT sometime in March or April of 2008.

    Canyon V8!

The Atlas should have been standard in the GMT900 trucks when they were introed last year. The 4.3 needs to go. Its a rough engine though and serves its purpose despite its faults. The Atlas should have been developed for the GMT355s, but GM says it wouldn't fit. They should have made it fit.
  13. Had lunch with a friend of mine looking her replace her Mariner today. She wants something with better mileage. I steered her into the direction of the nearest Saturn dealer to check out an Astra. She wont be ready to buy for about a month. She says her Mariner gets 15 mpg and is falling apart. She mentioned the HomeLink and gear shift surround cracking and falling down/off. She said she could wait a month to check out the Astra. I also mentioned the Cobalt, HHR and Vibe as well.

  19. Stallion ZL-1, it is French I believe. It's a legal term of questioning jury members and witnesses in the courts.
  20. voi dire
  21. I've noticed that too. It's very similar to a Wal-Mart press release. I've always said that Toyota is the Wal-Mart of car companies.
  22. distrust
  23. Glad you are finally getting it all worked out Dodgefan.
  24. Good luck ST. You can do it man.
