  1. That is one of my fav. cars... Saw a blue 70 Cutty with a black vinyl top driving tonight, was sweet.... Awesome pics, Roger!
  2. Bingo! Ding, ding ding...sir...we have a winner. I would agree with you. My wife, both sons, and oldest daughter are all somewhat fiscal conservatives. sometimes as you say socially as well... They all pretty much hate the current republican party, fox news, et al...
  3. Congrats! A much better name than my middle daughters best friends...who are named Lexus and Sienna.... Way to go Roger!
  4. Hope everything works out all right... Chris
  5. ...and this is where I loose all respect for the conservative side of things.... REALITY PLEASE!
  6. Synergy green is just way to hot for the Camaro!
  7. Congrats, loki!
  8. Congrats, loki!
  9. This car may be my salvation for my wife's next car. She wanted a Fit to replace her Scion xB (2005) which has 137,000 miles on it....but after looking at the Fieta...she MUCH prefers the Fiesta... HMM...Miata...fiesta...add one MINI...three cars...three continents...could be quite the nice garage, esp. if the MINI were an S model. but agree with you, pow...Ford outdid themselves on this one!
  10. My dodgefan moment...we got a lot of runs at the last autocross, and got to ride along in a Viper driven 'in anger." I still like the Z06 a little better (it feels like a little more of an animal) but...ohmygodwhatacar My Balthazar moment...pulled up in a rural driveway in a service call to fix some electricd...guys is an old fart from New Jersey...has a 62 Pontiac Grand Prix with 64,000 original miles, dark marron, nice shape...sitting in the driveway. Guy spent most of his life in New Jersey before moving to Ohio...he also had a 69 Mach 1, a 67 Mustang fastback, and a 65 Mustang convertible. My sixty eight panther moment...was doing a service call at a truck stop...and then a riced Celica...really riced...pulled away from the pumps when I was getting a tool out of my work van. I looked at that car and said "what a pig." I turned around...and a whole convoy of Kenworths pulling livestock trailers full of pigs pulled in off of I-70...must have been about eleventy billion pigs. Evidently Karma is not a bitch, she agrees with us at Cheers and Gears! Chris
  11. Cool....glad to know about the flow masters...
  12. Not just yes but....in my driveway please! Cincy.... and congrats...seeing you get what you want gives me hope that I will get a Solstice or a Cooper S...
  13. The Healy is one of my all time top ten cars...ever... I dearly, dearly, dearly love Healy's...but then you already know THAT!
  14. With Goodguys here in town I can tell you...most of the guys doing resto work and into old muscle cars are getting a LOT older. I wonder how much a wheelchair lift costs to retrofit into a 67 GTO?
  15. Diesel golf had a best ever sales performance because they are very slow in bringing the car to market...demand outstrips supply....and they are slowly ramping up....
  16. HAPPY bIRTHDAY, DUDE!
  17. Happy birthday, sir!
  18. I could make comments...but they wouldn't be nice....and Olds...you are right...we don't learn from our mistakes...
  19. On my "most want to own list" right now: Solstice Coupe, GXP, mnaual Cooper S GTI VW, MK 5 or MK 6 (or an R32!) 240Z Air Cooled 911
  20. Yeah, good luck on the Golf, keep us posted...
  21. Cuda yes...and Sky could be had for 16K. Sadly the GXP Solstice is still above the 16k mark with low miles...
  22. Believe me, brother blu and Camino....but...right now...I don't have room in the fleet for one. some day, I would love a nice full size pick up truck. chris
  23. I have a bunch of trucks at work I can pretty much use whenever I want...I'm with Viper, R32 FTW! THAT is a gentlemans cruiser, fast, comfortable, stylish...not just yes but...sign me up for a payment!
