  2. With me it is a life style thing...I want to be like knightfan, and travel places....and I want to autocross... I'm trying to live very simply to achieve other goals. But I admire your collections, guys.
  3. I've seen some really odd things lately. Bunches, actually...to many to post here...like the guy driving a bright Yellow VW thing, windows down, singing at the top of his lungs... Saw a Silver Audi TT while driving to a service call at work today....lic plate, Ohio vanity plate...BOW TE GY...or bow tie guy...which one would assume to be chevy. Was going to Ace Iron and Scrap, to sell off some copper and scrap from my electrical and HVAC pursuits...was being followed by a Brinks truck. At the scrap yard...two armed guards pop out...and start selling copper scrap. I mean, the price of scrap copper is high...but come on now boys...
  4. Agreed, I think GM has this one right. I'd put one in the driveway tonight if I could afford it.
  5. Very, very, very simple answer for you son...don't buy one. I also am in lust over a diesel full size one ton truck....you and I can share some automotive GM lust on that one. But blu...I hate to break this to you...we (you and I) are NOT going to do a hokey GM commercial for one if I buy one.
  6. Amen brother. I still want a Volt so damn bad...it gets the same kind of car lust going in me as a sixties muscle car...maybe it's the technology involved, or the feel of being on a cutting edge. Really glad to see this car...finally...here.
  7. Congrats, dude! Oh, and I have a son who loves Ibanez guitars.... Actually of the seven people in my family five play guitar...so I may be seeing you! I just flat out need to drive to New Jersey with my son Joel, who is seventeen and into guitars. You and I can talk cars, and our sons can talk guitars. We'll hire B-knight so we can have someone to translate between generations....
  8. And of these, only the fiesta IMHO is even close...no offense to the Cruze...
  9. And of these, only the fiesta IMHO is even close...no offense to the Cruze...
  10. i wish it was cheaper, I'd own one in a heartbeat....
  11. Putting the top up ever is pretty much against my religion...my 15 year old daughter and I drove across Kentucky in the Miata during a heavy rain storm with the top down...at about 72 miles per hour, rain went right over the top of the car, and we stayed dry. I'm still cruising around with the top down, and it's November in Ohio. IMHO convertible tops perform the valuable function of keeping the neighbors cat out of your car while it's parked out front, or in the garage.... But yes, I could see how with a good looking 1960's roof line you would prefer a hardtop.
  12. Welcome to the /USA/Canda, where everything is done (crappily) to the lowest bidder. Like blu said, on behalf of decent, professional body shops, you have my sympathy.
  13. See...trash talking like a kid from the hood already....you are aware that I'm really tired of donks, right? Low riders not so much, I've seen some really cool ones built from the 78-87 GM midsize cars.... And while I have a real love for Grand Prix, the 67 Ragtop kind of is my fav. in some ways...you know of my love of convertibles, it's a one year only car, and it has a nice, flowing design IMHO>
  14. Make the change...I used to work 65 hours a week, now I work more like thirty five. simplify, simplify, simplify....
  15. Ya gotta admit, those halos make that Camaro look mean! I think the shot of the Camaro with the halo's is my fav.
  16. Second location is much better....
  17. Saved the best for last, love the color on this poncho....
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgtOAG9wAOo&feature=grec_index http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTsxS7l_DvY&feature=related And some more pure Pontiac Porn.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzlneG5tN_w&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDuHVSF352I&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHvYzbrQPUk&feature=related Since we know Balthazar loves low riders and donks, I included this....
  19. Contact a librarian who preserves old manuscripts...my sister in law does that at a library, and they have all kins of useful techniques.
  20. Fantastic...but could have used a little fill flash to take away some of the effects of the car shadows...which kind of intersect at odd angles a couple of times... But Overall...fantastic! Oh, and those rims also look really good on the Intrepid...
  21. Yes it would...but for as nice as the Kisashi is...we really don't need one more player in a crowded market. Hoping they go belly up here in this market....
  22. I think in Ohio antique means that you can only use the vehicle for club activities, parades, car shows, and exhibition, and not as regular transportation. Go for it in terms of registering it as an antique....
  23. Other questions- How do you find the audio system? How is back seat headroom? Is the dash-center stack area layout intuitive and easy to use while in heavy traffic? How much fuel economy does the car seem to loose in heavy traffic? Would you be happy with this in the driveway as a long term ownership experience? Do you think the styling would feel busy with time? I kind of like the styling...not sure how I would feel about it after five or six years of onership... But nice car...anything you can chip in is appreciated....
