  1. Because it's a photo op and it makes sense to have things highlighting the design history of the new Camaro in it?
  2. The problem with the new Sentra is even with a 200hp/6-speed powertrain, it's not even half as interesting as the 175hp/5-speed Sentra Spec V of last generation.
  3. More and more, I think this is just an early design illustration of the Camaro. It would make sense, GM wouldn't put anything in a picture that they didn't want there, and it is probably up for a "design process" feel.
  4. Rumor has it the 2.0L supercharged powertrain is to be replaced by a transverse variant of the 2.0L turbocharged motor used in the Solstice GXP/Sky Redline.
  5. Check out the SSR tank! I wonder if GM will ever admit that was the worst design to come out of Chevy in 10 years. Pontiac has sold as many Bonnevilles in April as Chevy has SSRs!
  6. Road & Track, on the other hand, gushed about the Aura XR. R&T Aura Review Car and Driver should do a comparo on the upper trims!
  7. As far as the concept cars that are never going to be built, Mazda hands down!
  8. So do the Chinese make anything that ISN'T stolen??
  9. I hear you. And then GM wonders why they are losing out to Toyota. People who buy Toyotas LIKE blandmobiles, people who were long-time GM loyalists wanted EXCITEMENT, not Americanized Toyotas!
  10. I have to like everything about it. A car that looks good but is too slow for my tastes won't make the cut, and neither will a rocketship that's ugly as hell.
  11. The only compact I can see myself in at the moment is a G5 GT with a turbo added on =P
  12. Actually, it was dropped from the G6 as well. 2007 is the last year for it. I'm glad I picked up my GTP when I did, the GXP is fugly and actually LOSES options.
  13. Anyone compare things like the size of the windows to the size of the tires? I know concepts are usually out of proportion and drawn with 235124351" wheels, but whatever this is doesn't look proportionally full-size to me. Definitely not G8-sized.
  14. An old Tiburon with a stolen Pontiac grille design and a friggin' standard built-in accordion?? Where do I sign?
  15. Not sure, but the panoramic roof design used in the G6 and Aura is dead. Any cars that get an "extended" sunroof from now on are probably getting the one on the CTS that is nothing but a normal sunroof with a fixed glass pane behind it for extra view. It doesn't even open.
  16. As does the "Knights Performacne" slide
  17. I would remind everyone that these are the idiots who spawned Slate, and let you take it from there.
  18. They always look like that, GM glosses and airbrushes the crap out of their press photography, hence why they always look so characterless until you see them in person.
  19. What the heck..? I'm glad they ditched the SS label on the N/A Cobalts, but why get rid of the S/C model?? That was one of the only SS's I thought was actually worth the badge!! EDIT: Thanks for the info, flybrian. I assume it will be a FWD variant?
  20. GTP has been gone since 2005. It's been base 3.8L, GT 3.8L S/C, and GXP 5.3L up to now.
  21. How yawn-worthy is that LaCrosse Super, eh?
  22. Wait, they are selling the old Malibu alongside the new one as a "Malibu Classic"? Are you kidding me??
  23. So does the Aura continue to have the panoramic sunroof or not? A more complete model year change guide for the Aura I saw indicated that the panoramic roof was being dropped here as well. Also, does anyone else find the "extra cost paint" kick to be getting a little old? Paying extra just to get *black*? Give me a break.
