  2. I can't speak for the current gen RAV, but one of my friends drives a 2004 RAV4 and it's of terrible interior quality compared to the MAXX or hell, even the Cavalier.
  3. Like most poseur Calgarians who buy Hummers and FJs... it's for trips to the Antique Barn, not for path finding.

  5. I saw an Arizona car, a white Reatta Hardtop with 76K Miles for sale for 8K Canadian dollars a while back... It was a White coupe with red interior. There's only 2 Reattas for sale in the entire country right now... White 1988 http://www.canadatrader.com/result/detaili...gno=1&srt=1 Red 1988 (Only 90K Kms! http://www.canadatrader.com/result/detaili...gno=1&srt=1
  6. There's TONS of trunk space... Just put the G-6 or Sebring Hardtop up... and with the G6, you've just created a sexy hardtop coupe.
  7. Thanks Guys... This brings the list of Toyota purchases I've prevented this year to 3.... 1- FJ Cruiser 2- Camry I'm seriously considering painting a Toyota logo on the right front fender of the Cavalier, WWII Fighter Style; for every sale I stop, and there will be more.
  8. Even better is that he might get an H3 instead...
  9. This vid was brought to my attention by one of my friends and I think you've just gotta see it... It must have been a slow news day. I grew up on Mr. Rogers and I think he was one of the greatest people to walk the earth... http://youtube.com/watch?v=n44WCUKIK2Y His Show was actually wholesome... Kids these days are subjected to shows like the Teletubbies (Cringe), with no educational or developmental value, you may as well put their brains in a blender... I also saw this video where he spoke at a senate hearing in the 1960s to essentially save Public Television by singlehandedly earning a 20Mil $ Grant by his testimony alone. It's inspirational and worth a look: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Wrqd3sV7_lI
  10. So I was talking to a friend today and he said his dad was buying himself a brand new FJ Cruiser to replace his 1996 Grand Voyager. Apparently he paid cash for it already and is taking delivery on Thursday. So what did I do? I told his son about the Frame problems, and showed pictures, and directed him to this site and others and told him of some of Toyota's other follies that nobody gets to here about. Last I heard, his dad was on his way to the Toyota dealer to tell the salesman the deal was off. () Chock one up for the good guys.
  11. Dodge, Here's one... Download it from here http://www.youtubex.com
  12. I still think that they should have called the low sodium V8 Drink a V6.
  13. Oh Puhlease!! No Incentives... Cheaper Cars Please! A base Acadia is 10K Dollars Cheaper in the USA for god's sake...
  14. That sound's like the crazy lady I ran into @ Dalhousie Bus Station one day that said to a friend of mine with long hair that 'when Jesus comes back' he's gonna kill everybody with long hair, so get it cut now!
  15. Then you'll likely be spared when we start sending people to the death fires :AH-HA_wink: .

  17. Yes, they did.
  18. Yep, Timmies moved in to the states... Tim's is GOD. I get the big US Networks from Detroit, Seattle, Boston, NY, Spokane, Rochester, and Atlanta, and the US Commercials for Tim Hortons makes it out to be a Canadian Mind Controlling Cult.
  19. My grandparents had a 1986 Tempo... It crapped out on them in 1994 and they bought a Dodge Neon Sport. I think they put about 200K Kms on it in total.
  20. Give Me An '86 Delta 88 over an '86 Taurus Any Day.
  21. Years ago (~20 years) my parents were in Hawaii during the Easter Season and caught wind of a "Stations of the Cross" play in a park... It was put on by the Mormon Church and my mom wanted a T-Shirt or some free offer and ended up putting their name and address on some sheet and after that it was like there was a beacon on the roof of their house . It was actually a contributing factor in their decision to move two years later. Just last year, one day I thought It would be nice to come home to have a quiet lunch... As I turned onto my street, i saw them 5 doors down... I rushed into my house, checked my voicemail, and peeled out of my driveway towards A&W just as they were approaching my house... You SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOKS ON THEIR FACES! :AH-HA_wink:
  22. The Farmer's Market on the old Currie Barracks.... I'd been going there for a while and getting they were giving me a frequent discount but they seemed a little strange, friendly, if you get what you mean, I picked up on something in what he said, it was weird, it could just be me being paranoid, but the way the till guy said it was really strange, broken up, almost forced and unemotional... My first thought was CULT... It's likely that I could've been way off on my judgment, but the other Deli has better Borscht anyway.
  23. There's a place @ the Calgary Farmers Market that I'm thinking is a cult... I was buying some food there and I got a strange awkward pitch about children being the future and the defining generation of our society... It was kinda weird... Sufficient to say, I switched Polish Delis!
  24. I don't drink coffee, can't stand it... I drink many kinds of tea though.
