  1. For what it's worth, I love the Taurus for its unoffensive blandness...
  2. Yeah, 747-8 All The way The LX and AC A330 Cabins look like this... http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1202826/L/ and I understand some of the 767-400s are going international now (they all used to be domestic only) From an economic standpoint, the 767 is one of the most robust, strong planes I've ever seen... (not as much so as the 727/DC9/737-200) but it's up there. From a passenger standpoint, I hate flying on them because, due to the main gear bogies tilting in the opposite direction, it's harder for the pilot to 'grease' it and therefore landings aren't so smooth for the most part.
  3. A380 isn't debuting for commercial service until next month with Singapore Airways...
  4. The Longer Newlook Busses look better... ^As you can see, they are still used in great numbers where I live.
  5. Have a safe flight Ouch... You got shafted onto a 767... They're like battleships compared to the 777s and A330s that also do that route
  6. I too am really concerned about this... We did an EnerGuide appraisal on our house and it was 61% energy efficient (40 years old). We put in a 97% Efficient new furnace, electronic air cleaner, new doors, windows with the smart tint and argon gas, and such, had it re-appraised, and it's now 86% Energy Efficient.
  7. Sometimes I feel trapped living in Calgary and that's only 1 Million People you know... Perhaps one day the summer home in Nova Scotia will be built.
  8. I've only met one slimeball salesman in Calgary. When we didn't buy a van from this guy he called every 30 minutes for a day trying to save the deal and then when he saw us driving around in the Trans Sport, and left an angry phone message cause we didn't buy the van he offered. Little did he know that we picked up on his lie on when a financing sale at the dealership was over and that's why he didn't get the sale. Funny thing is, he's still there, and is now the SALES MANAGER. He also apparently sends angry letters to bloggers... he's the author of the angry Email on this page... http://www.goingfaster.com/spo/advert.html (Just scroll down to the letter, it's kinda deep in the page)

  10. Good to see that GM, Ford, and Chrysler are talking about Domestic Market share increasing rather than just their own... that's the spirit!
  11. Pittsburgh is nothing... I present TORONTO!

  13. Cochrane, Alberta? Ever have Ice Cream @ McKay's? The money for this spring's Phoenix trip is gonna be purchased tomorrow BTW.
  14. They're kitschy... and will be a future classic because of their kitschiness no doubt... I like to be ahead of the curve.
  15. Today, I saw a blue 1964 Oldsmobile Super 88 Sedan being driven by some teenager...
  16. I Think that the Delta Buick should be called 'Special'... Second Choice, Skylark. The Hybrid should be called Electra Invicta isn't appropriate though. As long as it's not called 'Excelle'! This or the Regal could Replace the Cavalier in a few years...
  17. Hey, I'd like to do that!
  18. Wooo.... the dollar just hit 1.0004$ US... We're officially more valuable than the US Dollar!
  19. Depends how busy I am .
  20. Not until it shoots a cylinder through the hood :AH-HA_wink:. The service dept @ my dealer where the car is serviced doesn't clean the cars because they are the highest volume dealer in sales and service for GM in town and there are so many cars on any given day that they don't have the resources to wash the car of every Tom, Dick, and Harry...
  21. Exactly, an El Camino is an El Camino... not the Pontiac G9...
  22. So, Until Yesterday, the Cavalier looked like this, not having been washed in ~2 Years: So I cleaned Her Up a bit, and broke out the Armor-All, Vacuum Cleaner, and Steam Cleaner and fixed up the interior... prolly now one of the nicest looking 1997 Cavaliers now (at least inside) I got another surprise, after the wash, I realized how dingy those plastic covers that were put on when we bought the car in 1997 were getting... I figured I'd clean them off because they were not giving me enough light during the night... well that's where the surprise happened. I took them off and soaked them in the sink, windexed them, and went back out to the car only to witness how dingy the lights themselves had gotten... so I got a wet rag and a dry towel and cleaned the lights. I was shocked at just HOW WELL these 10 year old plastic covers protected and preserved the condition of the lights. While everything else had just had the hell abused out of it after 10 years of being a 'city car' that never left town and got abused by ignorant jerks in parking lots, here these lights are, in pristine condition!
  23. Yeah, I clean my wheelwells, that's where all the salt from the roads during the winter ends up and you gotta keep them clean lol.
  24. The ONLY way this would not be a super low volume vehicle is if it's badged as an El Camino... Seriously... Not calling it El Camino is the biggest marketing errors this company could make IMO.
