  1. Several states, (and countries) it seems, have made that judgment call for their citizens, by banning the use of cell phones while driving.
  2. hehe, moltie. I think the pic is sort of cool, although I'd be mad too if it were my expensive camera that was acting up. Camino, what exactly are you zooming in on? Is it really that small?

    Taking a step

Thanks, Mr. Jacket. I've already got one bottom line price from one of the dealers, and it's better than I hoped.
  4. What? There's text in that picture? :AH-HA_wink: ANSWER: true.
  5. Dude, Like... Dude... want some shrooms? I had to change the subject because Croc and I were killing the thread with our stupid argument. Please redirect the thread, El Capitan, if you please. God I'm bored.
  6. That's cute that you and your "bro" both stopped at the same time and went "what the f@#k!?" (ah, young love...) I still think of the Nagivator as a big, motionless brick compared to the Escalade, which, conversely, gives me the impression of alacrity and athleticism in a luxury Utility.
  7. Well, it reminds me of a Marmon V-16 Hayes Coupe, probably a 1932. It's special because it is the only Marmon rebodied by Hayes.
  8. I'll have to see if I can open one up at work, we have 2 or 3 new ones. I have personally sat in several Nagivators since going to work for Lincoln-Mercury, including a 2003 that we did some minor repair to for lease turn-in. It had the light tan colored leather, and, although they were polished by so many butts, I didn't see much undue wear, even on the silver finished hard dash parts. I think it had like 43k miles. I didn't check the warranty history to see if it had the seat covers replaced at any time.
  9. Mr. Fly! :AH-HA_wink: So Croc, you never said what was so LOL about the new Navigator's seats. And where are the pictures of the LAIAS? You're fired!
  10. Once in a while I think I'm missing out by not having a cell, but then I think I'd rather not be that reachable 24/7. I do appreciate the thought of having one for emergencies though.
  11. I went and searched for a link to placate you. You got links and you're still running off at the mouth. Please hush. I don't feel like fighting with you tonight. Plus, my warning level is at 6 flashing blocks, one more and I'm out. Do you want me to get banned?
  12. http://www.forbes.com/forbeslife/health/fe...cout533489.html How about this one? Are you trying to make me your websearch bitch?
  13. OK, so the gist of several studies coming to much the same conclusion isn't good enough. I'm so surprised at your response, really I am.
  14. Local dealer has an Outlook! I drove by there today at lunchtime and made a mental note to stop back after work to look it over. Forgot because my sinuses are giving me a fit.
  15. Boys! Focus! :AH-HA_wink:
  16. So, has anyone seen any cars yet this month?
  17. Are you guys turning out regular cabs yet?

    Taking a step

Well, I heard from two of the four dealerships I contacted so far, both thanking me for my interest in the 2007 Sierra crewcab. Even though I checked the box requesting only email correspondence, both places called my house and left messages in addition to the emails. I wrote back to both clarifying what I'm looking for. Hopefully now, everything will gel.
  19. Here ya go, Croc. Read this. http://www.iii.org/media/hottopics/insurance/cellphones/
  20. I see the problem. You have it switched to the "impressionist art" setting.
  21. Very cool video, but I think she looks fine after the makeup and hair, before the digital work.
  22. Government regulations killed goodlooking, fast cars for a while because the automakers didn't know of any other way to meet fuel economy and emissions standards other than to choke off their engines and downsize all the style out while trying to maintain passenger room. Nowadays, the technology is there to meet the government requirements, hence the hopeful signs for a styling renaissance.
  23. Good Lord, check out the mosquito bites on the chick in the 60's Polara 500 ad. I agree with just about everything you say in this thread, Sixty4. Chrysler's LX cars made a promise they haven't kept with subsequent designs, for the most part. Ford is hopelessly bland with their cars, save the Mustang. I really have hope for GM to regain their style dominance.
  24. Bonus point please. :AH-HA_wink:
  25. No Bobby, I didn't "line up" for that. I don't want a chick touching my dick. What, are you new here? :AH-HA_wink: More stories, please!
