  3. Hope you guys had a good day.
  4. That's actually a 24 carat gold inlay in genuine Mohican finegrained Zebra wood. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. Well then, I was giving Nissan benefit of the doubt, since we don't know enough about the new small SUV to call BS on this "untapped market niche" crap. An Altima coupe is certainly not a new niche. I guess those are the only two new products coming soon from the Nissan division, so if it's not the SUV, you've gotta be right.
  6. GT500 engine?

  8. The above pic, for some reason, reminds me of National Geographic. You know, with pictures of African mothers with boobs dragging the ground... Jakey boy... gimme some! :AH-HA_wink:
  9. EEEEEAaaahhhhhh, a spider! Somebody kill it! Oh my God! :AH-HA_wink:

    I got mail!

Hey now, Hey Now, are you picking on me? :AH-HA_wink: Anyhoo, I keep getting hints that the truck I want to spec out will be reasonably priced. All I want is 5.3L, Convenience Pkg, maybe a sliding window, and G80 locking diff with 3.23 gears. Dark blue with black cloth. And the chrome mirror caps, door handles, soft tonneau cover and Torque Thrust-style 20" GM Accessory wheels. Oh well, I'll just keep sitting here, tapping my foot, arms crossed, while I wait.

    I got mail!

Yup so I got home just a while ago and checked my mailbox. Inside was a nice sized envelope from Chevrolet. "Cool!" I thought as I hurried into the house to open it. Sure enough, it is a foldout on the new Silverado. But... it only has pictures of the crewcab (well, there's one x-ray pic of an extended cab, but...) It strikes me as kind of cheesy. It feels like GM is cramming the super-expensive crewcab down our throats. What about those of us who would rather have a regular cab, or even extended? I am put off by this. I am trying to be patient, but dammit, I thought the other bodystyles would be out in November... and still no prices at Chevy.com, except for crewcabs. Yes, I feel like doing this: and now that I have, I feel a bit better. I have 3 vehicles on my mind right now: Silverado regular cab 1LT shortbed 2WD G6 GT or GTP coupe VW GTI six speed manual Everything hinges on pricing for the Silverado model I'm interested in. Tick tock, people, let's go!
  13. Whoever made the decision to replace that awesome car with the tiny pathetic '86 should be shot. That would make a fantastic birthday present.
  14. I was right there with ya up until Carrot Top. You can go all Bugs Bunny on his ass if you want. I'll stick with Jakey. He's not overly built, he's kinda just right. Tasty... :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Happy Birthday, Drew, aka "Big Boy". :AH-HA_wink:

  17. The round thing, that's the turntable, right?
  18. Ooo, that's priddy. Is it yours? Nice pics, Bizz.
  19. The level of talent shown in the above masterpiece will never be equaled here at C&G. All bow to MDM!
  20. The 4.0L V6 definitely needs to be in these cars, with the 6 speed auto for the Sebring, and an option of a 6 speed manual in the Avenger.
  21. A manual is the only way to have fun in most cars. Small cars like this thrive on manual transmissions. I mean, I wouldn't want a 6 speed manual in a Grand Marquis, but ya know? 3 door Rabbit starts at $14,990, and a GTI with no options compares favorably to a Cobalt SS/SC for features... stability control, xenon headlights, and limited slip diff are standard with the GTI.
  22. I really doubt that Condi's that limpwristed.
  23. Whoa, looks a bit shiny, like it's wet, and it has some tiny bites out of it. What is that mushroom's story?
