  1. I went as a streaker. I think it backfired. I didn't get any candy. Mostly people just laughed then slammed the door on my... finger.
  2. Nah, that was a lame reference to Subaru's shortlived "retro SAAB" face, as seen on the B9 Tribeca, and in a toned-down form on the Impreza. I understand that with GM's divestiture, Subaru has abandoned that style.
  3. 04monte, you know the story of milk, right? Raw milk right out of the cow, if left to sit in the fridge, has fatty cream that separates and rises to the top of the bottle. To make skim milk, all the cream is "skimmed" off the top, taking the fat with it. Homogenization is a process where the cream is kept from separating, so you don't have to shake it to mix it together. 2%, etc., milk has a percentage of cream left in the milk. Skim milk is not made by adding water to whole milk.
  4. Nos, has your Birthday Cake gig fallen by the wayside?
  5. Eww... Velveeta $h!, sounds like a personal problem.
  6. That's pretty neat, and the new engine sounds strong.
  7. You've gotta be kidding... that's an early Subaru! :AH-HA_wink: Ha, but yeah, that is a classic SAAB, for sure.
  8. I like the Concept 1 car the best.
  9. It's very unusual to see a radiator behind the engine. Must have a serious cowl vent situation. That's what made me think it was a rear-engine car, because of airflow concerns... it seems with engine heat blowing back onto the radiator it would be that much harder to engineer an effective cooling system. Once this is settled, James, could you please post more pictures of this little beast?
  10. I really like the Lucerne, but the Aura XR in gray with Morocco leather is such a tasty combination... and of course the 252 horse 3.6 and six speed combo are the latest thing.
  11. A minor child's pregnancy is certainly a health concern, physical, mental, and emotional. It is inconceivable to me that this would not be something major enough to notify parents about. "Abusive parents" can be dealt with outside of this. Parents need to know what is going on with their children, especially while they are still under age and living at home. This is a situation where counseling is warranted for the child and her parents to make a healthy decision. It affects all aspects of the girl's life from that moment on.
  12. Agreed... for wheels, I love the Torque Thrusts, and, in both photos, the five spoker, center row, left side.
  13. No way on the extended cab, dudes. The name of the game is light weight, lotsa motor if you want to rule the streets.
  14. Booyah, if you can keep "it" "in the box" until then, you're a better man than I. :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Hmmm... the side marker lights are filled in. how much do you guys wanna bet that is one of those Dynacorn bodies and not a "real" Camaro?
  16. Well yeah, but an engine 4 cylinders in depth seems to fit better than one 6 cylinders in depth. And it is pretty much a guarantee that a production version of this facelift will be toned down.
  17. #1 - Saturn Vue Torrent Colorado Canyon H3 Rendezvous (ew)
  18. That looks like the same truck that my local dealer got. I've got to see prices for regular cabs soon.
  19. I'm afraid to ask what she looks like now. Lenny
  20. Looks like a decent starting point for a fun project. Good luck with it, zhawk.
  21. Mustang, the front clip off the Sierra would cure that overly happy face instantly.
  22. Now that's professional. Hot!
  23. Maybe I'd like it better rolling in a video. I'd like to hear it run, too. I'll wait to see photos, at least.
  24. I guess it's a bug/stone shield. Looks like a tastefully accessorized, stock Outlook. Very well-executed.
  25. 1960's Corvettes, and other Chevys with the 427 always had an identifying hood scoop, different from other engines.
